Did some fact-checking last nite on Twitter, the dead-enders are more & more ridiculous. They were talking about what a success Ivermectin was in Brazil. Looked into it and it was the opposite of that, a town in Brazil used it in 2020 before the vax and while it was better than nothing, over 600K people have died of COVID in Brazil and the Senate just released a report there proposing to criminally charge the gov't with crimes against humanity.

When looking today, Twitter suspended my account for 12 hours and made me remove this tweet. Check out this link on how horrible this Flavio guy is.

It also comes to mind that taking large doses of Ivermectin probably was extremely detrimental to anyone who had covid and it would have seriously depleted their fluid balances and hydration making them all the more vulnerable to the virus.

There are people out there that stupid, as witness the QAnon stuff, so whether the poster was serious or not is irrelevant. There are people that stupid. Five years ago I would have put it off as absurdist theater. I would not have believed that people would willingly and intentionally dose themselves with Ivermectin and try and sh** themselves to death, or that bleach enemas would ever be a thing except in maybe really bad porn, but after the last five years, not so much. Never underestimate just how gullible stupid the human race can be, as proven daily by QAnon and the OSG/TFG.

The California Secretary of the State Health and Human Services Agency under Governor Gavin Newsom has determined that a new mask mandate (law edict without the benefit of legislative assistance...a very unconstitutional action, by the way) is necessary (it is a violation of the Fourteenth Amendment, no person shall be deprived of their life, liberty or property without due process ... your liberty is your ability to make a choice regarding the day to day operations of your life) and in addition to the mandate being VERY illegal, it is also a slap in the face to those of us unable to wear face coverings due to medical reasons.
So, I sent the following to the Governor's office, and my two "republican" members of the State Legislature:

As a U.S. Navy Veteran I am unable to wear a mask or shield on my face. It has nothing to do with my ability to breathe, but instead is related to the horrors I endured while serving while underway during confrontations with the enemy with an Oxygen Breathing Apparatus mask on my face. A mask or shield on my face causes anxiety, panic, and in five cases when I tried to wear facial coverings in March of 2020 in an attempt to comply with the demands of government and business requests, extreme vertigo that in two of those cases resulted also in a loss of consciousness.** Unfortunately, my interactions with the Veteran's Administration over this disability has been minimal due to my mask disability. Now, I have just received the news that the State of California is reimposing a statewide mask mandate for all indoor settings for one month, ending January 15, 2022. The sudden effective date only a day away at a time when my funds are low because I am just now getting back on my feet after a disastrous 2020 leads me again to not be able to work. I will lose income, and I will be unable to fulfill my financial obligations as a result. The mask mandate, in short, requires me to sit at home and lose money and possibly my livelihood because the State of California has decided that I am a lawbreaker for not wearing a mask as a result of my service to this country. Is that the way the Newsom administration plans to be seen? As a governor that stands against our disabled veterans, intent to sink them financially because of a mandate that has no exceptions? I am angry, again, at Governor Gavin Newsom's administration's inhumane treatment of California citizens, demanding that we all fit in a single box or else suffer the consequences. Shame on you, Governor Newsom for denying those with medical exemptions for mask wearing the ability to take care of themselves, and for persecuting disabled veterans in need, labeling them as lawbreakers because of their medical disabilities.

I have no choice but to refuse to comply with this latest mask mandate. I will be contacting my Sheriff to make sure he remains true to his word not to enforce these illegal mandates as he has pledged in the past. Unfortunately, pressure on businesses will make it so that I won't be able to walk into a store or other type of establishment for a month (and if the locations who hosts my Constitution Classes conform to the mandate, I will lose my primary source of income, as well). To be honest, while I do have a medical exemption, I am also aware of the ineffectiveness of the masks, and how dangerous they actually can be for some people. But, that's a different conversation for another day.

The national medical regulator is warning people not to try and import ivermectin products, saying a number of them are fake and have smaller doses of active ingredients in them than advertised.

It is warning people that counterfeit medication could cause serious reactions

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and other health authorities have already spoken out against people using the anti-parasitic medication to self-treat COVID-19.

Ivermectin is usually used to treat things like scabies, mites and worms.

Someone needs to remind Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch that there is no such thing as an "absolute" constitutional right. Just as there is NO 1st amendment right to yell fire in a crowded theater, unless there is one, or lie about someone without consequences, or commit human sacrifice of your neighbor just because your religion says it is OK, there is no "absolute" right to NOT wear a mask or get vaccinated unless there is a valid health reason not to.

Half of Americans believe it should be illegal for companies to deny service or employment to those who are unvaccinated, according to a new Axios-Ipsos poll.

Overall, the poll shows that 51 percent of those surveyed believe it should be illegal to deny service or employment, a view held by 55 percent of Republicans and 46 percent of Democrats.

The most significant factor in where people stood on the issue was education, as opposed to race, gender or party affiliation, noted Axios.

While 58 percent of people with a high school degree or less agreed that it should be illegal to deny service to the unvaccinated, 44 percent of people with a bachelor's degree or higher said the same.

The Cincinnati-based grocery chain told employees last week that it will no longer provide two weeks of paid emergency leave for unvaccinated employees who contract Covid-19, unless local jurisdictions require otherwise. Kroger will also add a $50 monthly surcharge to company health plans for unvaccinated managers and other nonunion employees, according to a memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal. Both policies are effective Jan. 1, the memo said.
