Also, too, it keeps smelling like rain and my humidity meter has reached 31%, which it claims is no longer dry by 1%.
No rain though, just occasional clouds and lightning.
And brain melting heat.

The rain reached through last night and the low temperature dropped into the 80s! Woot.

I don't know where to put this, but here's a quote from a local citizen in regard to the flood in my town:
It's nice to be reminded when our constitutional rights are being infringed. What would be nicer is regular updates on inaccessable roads, electricity and sewer status.
Damn that river! It had no constitutional right to flood either.
