History-making student reaches Miss England final as first make-up free entrant

A politics student has reached the Miss England grand final near Coventry after becoming the first ever beauty queen to appear make-up free in the pageant's 94-year history. Melisa Raouf, 20, wowed the judges with her natural beauty when she appeared at the semi-finals of the competition in London on Monday.

She said she decided to take to the catwalk without any cosmetics or beauty products in the hope of inspiring other women to embrace their natural looks. Melisa broke the beauty pageant stereotype by going 'bare-face' and was left stunned when she landed a place in the Miss England final.

She will now compete alongside 40 other women to be crowned Miss England at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, near Corley Moor in Warwickshire, on October 17. Melisa, of Battersea, south London, said she took the unusual step in a bid to promote inner beauty in an age of social media obsession.

Ok, yeah - he is rather hot. I loved the ads he and Elton John did for Uber Eats (those "Tonight I'm having..." ads - they had several interesting pairs do some. I also really got a kick out of the Mark Hamil/Patrick Stewart ones...)
