My between the lines reading is that she said something he didn't like, so he's attacking her with his standard dis.

I agree. As much as I despise Coulter, she became disillusioned (IIRC) when he failed to deliver on his promised wall. If one gives Coulter the benefit of the doubt regarding reasonable intelligence, she should have known that would never happen. Nonetheless, she decided he was all hat, no cattle when the beautiful wall failed to materialize, made her opinions known and she's been on his shit list ever since.

Hmm.. looking at it, that was published back in August 2016. She must have changed her mind after the election because I honestly cannot remember her being a supporter.

Honestly I had not thought of her in awhile. She disappears from the media circuit for months on end. Always assuming/hoping that maybe she retired. Then she will pop back up. Damn.
