 You’re not wrong to feel the way you do, Gregg.

But I doubt he’ll do any brig time. I think the most likely outcome is Article 15, followed by Administrative Separation with a General Discharge. Although the regulation is in place to prevent members of the military from publicly engaging in partisan politics, they walk a fine line. They won’t want to appear to be punishing him for his political beliefs. And since an Other Than Honorable Discharge requires a hearing, they won’t want to give him the chance to turn it into a circus. They can just put him out with a General, no muss/no fuss, and he has no say in the matter.

Yes, I thought so but wasn't sure.

'Mar-A-Lago Three' broke law with scheme to monetize veterans' medical records: House investigators

A congressional investigation found three members of Donald Trump's private club Mar-A-Lago illegally exerted influence over the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The so-called "Mar-A-Lago Three" -- Ike Perlmutter, Marc Sherman and Bruce Moskowitz -- used their ties to then-president Trump to violate the Federal Advisory Committee Act by communicating with department officials to further their own personal interests, reported Stars and Stripes correspondent Nikki Wentling.

"The documents we are releasing today shed light on the secret role the Trio played in developing VA initiatives and programs, including a 'highly profitable' plan to monetize veterans' medical records," wrote investigators from the House Oversight Committee and the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs.

The Government Accountability Office previously reviewed 223 email exchanges the Trump associates had with VA officials between 2016 and 2018 and found they made recommendations in 28 of those messages and provided information about other initiatives in 70 others.

Perlmutter is chairman of Marvel Entertainment, while Sherman is an attorney and Moskowitz is a Palm Beach physician, and none of the men has any previous experience in veterans' affairs.

Definitely not a law-speaking guy, but my synopsis of the factual and legal arguments in the Shitgibbon's complaint is "WAAAHH!! Not fair on me! Big boys being nasty! Want tweets! Want tweets nowww!! Gimme tweeeets!! WAAAAHHH!!!"

Hat tip to Twitter: deplatforming the sitting president took some real nerve, and the consequent quietening of his bully pulpit shows how valuable that act was. Shame on those organizations (vulpine and others) who continue to transmit and promote his filth.

I found it hilarious trump is suing to get back his tweeter after Woodward's book mentions, a couple of times I believe, that trump was glad to be free of Twitter. It tied him down.

I'm calling Bullshit on that. Oh I'm sure that the former guy told people that as a sign of bravado and may have told Woodward that himself, but there is no way that is true. He went nuts when he was banned.

He also tells people he is ok with the fact that he lost. Do you believe that too?

They were fun for a brief time... then not.It amazed me that no one in his orbit could contain his behavior. But, I suppose in the MAGA universe, it was a feature, not a bug. Reap what you sow.

To me, the number of times in a day that he says he's glad to be off Twitter is a measure of how much he truly, truly misses the direct connection with his base of white supremacist trash potatoes and Qute Lil' Dung Beetles. If he says that 10x a day, you know he's really suffering without his Twitter. There's an app for that: If he says it 10x in a day, my phone vibrates in my pants.

The OSG is definitely Jonesing for his Twitter fix. Nothing like for a narcissist. He feeds off the adulation like a vampire.

He probably wants Twitter to reinstate his account so he can "own the libs", and then make a huge show of publicly quitting twitter.

He just doesn't like losing. It doesn't matter whether he wins anything useful, just that he wins.

"You can't fire me! I quit!"

He’s probably desperate to find something to help him with 2024; he doesn’t know how to campaign without Twitter. Plus being all locked away in Florida with nothing more than a wedding or two to crash he’s probably like a junkie in withdrawal from lack of all the RWNJ ass kissing attention he got on Twitter and as president.

Not to mention all the stuff coming out about him that he can’t do shit about is driving him mad. Didn’t he just threaten to or try to exert executive privilege to prevent congress from subpoenaing his financial records among other things?

I for one am enjoying knowing he’s squirming like a worn over this

Be sure to make good photos of all the fashions at Merd-duh-lago so we Fogbelles, Fogbeaus, FoGLBQers, Fogtransitioners, and Foglurkers, will know what to wear when we visit.

The bizarre thing is that where Mar-a-Lago is isn't really all that fancy..

A few weeks ago Ms and I took a Sunday morning drive north of there. Much MUCH more sophisticated and opulent.

Trump is another Palm Beach Poseur, IMHO ;)

at the time of the building and under its former owner the place may have been posh in its time.
Wikipedia wrote:Mar-a-Lago (/ˌmɑːrəˈlɑːɡoʊ/ from the Spanish for sea to lake) is a resort and national historic landmark in Palm Beach, Florida, built from 1924 to 1927 by cereal-company heiress and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post. The 126-room, 62,500-square-foot (5,810 m2)[1] mansion since 1994 contains the Mar-a-Lago Club, a members-only club with guest rooms, a spa, and other hotel-style amenities. It is located in Palm Beach County on the Palm Beach barrier island, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Florida's Intracoastal Waterway to the west.

Crinolines, ladies, sateen skirts furnished with fulsome flounces and frilly furbelows suit any opulent occasion. Madame Magnolia will surely advise.

Accessorized with a rotting red MAGA cap, porque es La Mier-da Larga y El Gibón de Mierda Naranja lo desea.
