Actually, I have THREE PAGES of unread posts, you people have been bizzy yourselves. And when I'm done reading those, it's Sunday and I have Musical Asskicking class in a distant land at 10:00, and plans with my fambly for this afternoon if I survive the class.

HENCE, I AM OFF DUTY for a spell. Everything works, you have to put up with somebody else's logos for a day or so, and do extra clicks to get to Unread Posts, or make a bookmark or sumpin'.

Do you know, I used to say the forum is working like a Swiss watch (hi Eurobot ) and now I'm afraid to say that because I used to say that about our old forum and it was true until one day I woke up and it was more like a Swiss watch that my hosting company threw under the wheels of a freakin' bus?

But ... it's working well. And I will return to finish customization and stuff, when the spirit moves me, which will be REAL SOON.

I'm using prosilver and tweets are loading, check V's Fire thread. Are they coming up for you now, Five Acres?

It did when I logged into FB via an incognita window. Still having problems with my usual setup.

I run a pretty unique configuration since I am on an Ubuntu Linux box. Usually everything works just fine.

Off to do my grocery shopping.

I dunno, why don't you just let it be ... let it be... 'cause every time we get "upgrades" it breaks stuff. I found myself back in Prosilver again this morning.

Not listening. :notlistening:

I warned you two days ago that this was happening. I can't stop the world from turning. :fingerwag:

Besides, nothing is broken. It just doesn't have the FogImprovements yet. :towel:

Walk it off. :bighug:  8-)

I think this may be a weird caching problem on my end. Incognito works just fine, so I will use that for now.

I like ProSilver. It's blue, all kinds of shades of blue. It's restful and peaceful to my eyes and brain.

X-Creamy is fine, just missing the logo, which is no biggie.

Azastan, prosilver Dark is lotsa blue and restful, too also. Just sayin'.

OK, finished Musical Asskicking, came home, loading the fambly in the car and headed to the State Farmers Market for a delectable lunch of scallops and clam chowder.

Might do some work when I get back. Or maybe a nap, Soros was late with the paycheck again this month.

Nobody's reporting anything serious except the logos and my personal customized links, which will be added.

If you absolutely need a Fogbow logo and those links, stick with prosilver.

If you absolutely need the links and can survive somehow without the logo, try prosilver Dark.

If you absolutely need X-Creamy, please seek professional help.

I just looked at that, and NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

The background is black and I could barely read it. It made my brain hurt. I'm going to stick with my faithful steed, proSilver. But thank you for offering others several different choices so that they can be freedom loving patriots of Fogbow!

OK, we begin the process of Fogconfiggerashuns with, you guessed it, our favorite board style of them all, X-Creamy Extremey Dreamy.

Whoa, do you see that?

X-Creamy Extremey Dreamy already has the Active Topics/Unread Posts links at the top and bottom of every page.
Foggy's Second (or maybe Twennythird) Law is:
If it works, don't fix it.
So we won't be fixing the links that already work.

I'll fix the logo, and then, in reverse alphabetical order, we have, umm ...

prosilver Special Edition
prosilver Dark
HexagonReborn
Green-Style
GraandNew
Carbon

Here we go.

Hokay, have some sort of logos up for all the styles, that means prosilver, prosilver Dark and prosilver Special Edition are done, they have logos and links in place, good to go. X-Creamy is all done, you're going to love this new version if you loved the old version, bless your heart. :blackeye:

Coding the links on HexagonReborn is tricky because of the menu that's fixed to the top of the viewport, I did it once and I can look at what I did, but I've had a long day now, and I'm not even gonna whine, I'm just going to take the rest of Sunday off and get back to it early in the morning.

I think I need to add links in Carbon, GraandNew, the Greenies, and the Hexagons. Then we'll be all ready FOR THE NEXT TIME THEY DECIDE TO RUIN YOUR LIFE.
:bwahaha:

Progress report:

.

StyleCompleted
Carbonfinished
GraandNewfinished
Green-Stylefinished
Green-Style-Splitfinished
HexagonRebornfinished
prosilver Darkfinished, and if you ask me, looking good
prosilver Special Editionfinished
X-Creamyfinished
.

Nobody signed up for Green-Style-Slim or HexagonRebornLight, so I zapped 'em in a pathetic lame effort to simplify my so-called life.

Ooooooh! The Hexagon Reborn color picker is NICE! Right now I've got it set for black with light purple and it looks super spiffy! Thanks for pointing that out Mr. Rooster!

As you can see (I updated the Progress Report), I've finished all but two of the board styles, and those two will have to wait a spell, because I have to get ready to go to Dancing With Barbells, our rooster must keep up his strength or how ever will he finish this assignment?

The logo on GraandNew looks terrible, but that freakin' logo is TRICKY. I'm not 100% sure how they do the CSS for that, TBH. But it's a logo, so I'll have to live with it.

OK, all finished, except the color picker changes the logo, so I have to figure that out so you get the same logo no matter what color you use.

AND, if you're writing a post the hexagons have taken over the imgwidth and edit buttons, they're unreadable. It's the little things. Of course, that's controlled by the extension I added, Advanced BBCodes or something.

HOWEVER, in one of those uncanny coincidences, here's the latest reading on which extensions we have, with any that are out of date in RED.

.
extensions.png
Oh man, I have to update that extension anyway. Who knows, that might fix HexagonReborn, but probably not.

We'll get there ...

.
Edit: One last note: I added, as you can see in the screencap of all our extensions, a thingy that gives stats for the past 24 hours. It's at the bottom of the Board Index page. Right now, it says:
In total there were 276 users :: 93 registered, 7 bots, 8 hidden and 168 guests active over the last 24 hours +
... and there's a bold plus sign + immediately following, and that's a link to the actual usernames of everyone who has visited in the past 24 hours.
... for whatever that's worth.
