but rewriting history to claim that she is just vigorously pursuing her vision is ludicrous.
How are those different though? If she had gone in as a simple self promoter with no specific ideology I might agree, but her going after democrats that do not align with her vision kinda strikes me as vigorously pursuing it.

All in all, I think she is being politically pretty smart. She has been building a base and is working to demonstrate that she can wield it in a way that can be friend or foe, and while she has been critical of people in her own party, that is a big part of HOW she is building support since many rank and file democrats are also critical of their own party in the same way and this provides a structure for focusing that dissatisfaction without burning things to the ground.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a huge fan of AOC, but at least, unlike MJT and most republicans, AOC has some policy ideas. She has things she would like to accomplish that, at least in her mind, will help the environment and the people.

MJT and most republicans' policy idea is "we wuz robbed" and their dedication to permanent republican control of Congress and the White House.

I;'m not much of a fan of AOC or her policies, but the woman has one thing in her favour - she is a bloody hard worker. Shoe leather covers a lot of sins.

Plus, she's trying to work the system, not blow it up.

Just to be a contrarian (not really), I am a big fan of AOC. I agree with much, if not most, of her policy ideas, I like that she is willing to fight for her positions, is able to, and does, make strong well-reasoned arguments in favor of them, and that she doesn't accept the "wait your turn little girl" attitude of too many of our fellow D/s and the talking heads. I like and respect her and the rest of the Squad.

Oh noes, that make three of us. Does that make us a movement according to Arlo Guthrie -- I can't remember.

Same here. Once she's got some experience under her belt, she'll be a powerhouse (AOC, not the other one).

We are on our way to a movement!!!!!! We have 5 humans plus woodworker's two cats. I have one cat, two dogs, and a horse. If we count granddogs and grand cats (4 + 1) the Squad organization now stands at 16.

https://www.lyrics.com/lyric/10511458/A ... Restaurant. Alice's Restaurant.
And can you imagine fifty people a day? I said FIFTY people a day
Walkin' in, singin' a bar of "Alice's Restaurant" and walkin' out? Friends
They may think it's a Movement, and that's what it is THE Alices's
Restaurant anti-massacre movement! And all you gotta do to join is to
Sing it the next time it comes around on the guitar

With feelin'

You can get anything you want at Alice's restaurant
You can get anything you want at Alice's restaurant
Walk right in, it's around the back
Just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want at Alice's restaurant

Well then, add in another dozen or so for me, including my late Great Danes (Bentley, Peaches, IO and Berkeley) and English Mastiff (Bruin, a 225 pound gentle giant).
