I believe that I read that Gus is neurodivergent but not on the spectrum or autistic at all. His LDs are something different. He also has ADHD.

Lindell investigates bathrooms. They didn't show the bathrooms, but I expect their designation is part of the facility not the DNC. He should go look at the arena where the RNC was held and check out the bathroom signs. I mean, my Target has a family bathroom that's gender neutral. My local brewery has one bathroom marked for men and two other "one holers" that are non-gendered. No one has suffered an attack of any kinds afaik. I would suspect that all home bathrooms are non-gender specific and shared by genders.

We have a Bass Pro Shop here in the Springs, now. The accessible bathroom was also the family bathroom and I suppose the gender neutral bathroom as well. (I like the accessible rooms because sometimes my knees don't work as well as they used to.) It was posh and it was in a fishing and hunting store in a fairly conservative area. No one has a problem with it. You lock the door, due the necessary, and wash your hands afterwards.

I was traveling recently and stopped for gas in either northern North Carolina or Southern Virginia. There were two bathrooms, men’s and women’s, both singles. There was a line of men already present when I arrived. When a woman came out of the ladies I offered to wait and let them go since all of these guys had been standing around since long before I got there. It was like I’d insulted their mother, or something.

The main floor of my church has 2 one-seater gender neutral rooms, and a small female bathroom. The male counterpart in the old section was taken over by the renting nursery school as have the 2 gender neutral ones also in the lower level.

None of this was by some evil design. It just sort of worked out that way. It happens with old and new parts of buildings.

There's a gas station in Effingham, IL that I frequently stop at on my Indy to St. Louis trips. A couple of years ago they switched the men's and women's restrooms to gender neutral. This is in ultra conservative, 198 foot tall steel-sided cross by the highway, Effingham. If it can happen in that town then maybe there's a shred of hope.
