So poorly in fact that the defense didn't even put on a case. Danchenko's attorney relied on Durham botching things and it worked well. The judge tossed out one count and the jury acquitted on the remaining four counts.

He was arguing with his own witness and then asked the judge to treat him as a hostile witness. I don't think Orly could have done worse. But like I said Durham's last two special investigator appointments led in fails. You have to remember he was appointed to investigate the destruction of the torture tapes and then he was appointed to investigate the torture at Abu Ghraib. He came back with zero charges.
