It is amazing how small of god they have created. Their god is so awesome that he can only heal by waving his magic around if you ask enough times and not by bestowing diverse gifts among his creation to help create a vaccine and methods for healing (and said gifts, I a pretty sure are mentioned in the Bible).

Speaking personally, I could definitely use some improvement of body and mind. When does this kick in? Will my new, better self live on into eternity? When I receive the inevitable booster shot, I hope it means I’ll be 5’8” tall, blond hair (curly, like Dirty Dancing) maybe eyes that are Jewish laser swords.

I'm not so sure. Some of them probably think different races are different species.

It appears she was detained following a report that she had assaulted a store employee; she also had reported that the store employee assaulted her. (All over not wearing a mask, of course.)
There are not-frivolous questions of whether she was required to identify herself while being detained; relatedly, whether she actually was under arrest (despite the officer saying she was being detained).
And she's running for the local school board; being Texas, this may improve her candidacy.

That's the obvious subtext here; no one stood on her neck for nine minutes.
The article says she was cited for assaulting the store officer, and I'm guessing Texas law says that a citation is the functional equivalent of an arrest (and release).
