Actually yes. He can convert to Buddhism, eat Asian cuisine, learn Asian languages, read Asian literature, attend Asian cultural events. He can be as Asian as he likes.

Cruz can go back to his roots. He can identify as Canadian.

He can only be culturally Asian, though, not racially. And from what I've seen lately, for him to try and "act Asian" (even if it's not an "act" for him but a sincere expression of what he likes, enjoys, believes and needs) it would likely be considered cultural appropriation and considered a grave insult to "real" Asians.

He's a grave insult to the human race.

Yes, maybe even with a few GOP votes. Like 52-53 total, worst case. If McConnell votes for her, could be as high as 60.

Booker is worth listening to, if one is inclined. A nice counterbalance to all the QOP crap.

It breaks my heart what they are putting her through. Can one even call Cruz, Hawley, Cotton human? They don't deserve the label.

:snippity:
They are the worse of humanity--and yet they hold positions of great power.

Which is, unfortunately for humanity, not a coincidence.

I would add KBJ is just fine: it is America that has been taken out at the knees and is lying in a pool of puke.

Mitch is voting against her. My guess is she will get 50-52 votes when she should get all their votes.

All this is in revenge for Robert Bork.

Republicans are all victims. They certainly remember Bork, but they didn't hesitate to bring up Coney Barrett and Kavanaugh, too. Not too long ago, I had a friend who went off on how Goldwater was cheated out of the presidency. I almost fell off my chair.
