I'd hum the Amok Time theme music, except I wouldn't sully the memory of one of the best episodes of Classic Star Trek by using it to reference these alleged bipedal mammals.

There was special Amok Time theme music? My memory has it being the same sort of maritial fight music that was used repeatedly for serious fight scenes in the show. I believe the last of these might be the case. Here's the whole cue from Amok Time. The beginning and end were not that familiar to me, so I'm guessing they were not used again. Here's a list of the other eps it was used in:
The main episodes that featured the Amok Time music were 'Amok Time', 'The Gamesters of Triskelion' and 'Bread and Circuses'. I believe it was also used a little in 'A Private Little War' and 'The Omega Glory' as well.
