Comment on the original painting: it is very unusual that the Jesus figure has the arms out as giving some blessing. Also very unusual that the figures are total frontal, generally the Jesus baby is held on one arm.

In the painting with Trump and Jr., Trump looks very, very grumpy. I think he's giving Jr. away to somebody. But Jr. looks thrilled, even after he clearly had arm reduction surgery. On both arms.

In the one with Trump and Melanie, she's the one who looks extremely, amazingly grumpy.

The artist is great at portraying seriously grumpy people. The happy ones are really badly drawn.

I don’t even know what to say. Like, more power to the guy. It takes guts to share your art with the world, especially when the subject is someone who is pretty much universally hated.

Peterson has even presented his art to Trump in person, but not this particular masterpiece. And you can tell by the look on Trump’s face that’s he’s just thrilled with it!

OMG, what happened to the man's right index finger in the one Suranis just posted? It looks like if he had a whole finger, it would block part of the face of whoever that was supposed to be, so the artist just turned the finger into a misshapen pointy stump!

Not even to mention, the American flag is desecrated with sloppy blue paint.

Yeah, C-130 cargo planes couldn't take one out, but I bet some clever AC-130J gunship pilots could figure a way to get the cannon pointed up in a hard banking turn and take a few shots at it. The service ceiling of a C-130J is about 30,000 feet, and depending on how good the crews are, they might have a shot at hitting it. The problem would be ensuring that spent rounds don't land on citizens.

My guess is that they'll either let it run out of helium and capture it when it lands, or they'll dispatch an F-15E, which can hit 65,000 easily, to put a couple small holes in the balloon from its 20mm gun. They might wait until it's over a sizeable body of water before shooting it down.

Plus, if it IS carrying bio-weapons, the last thing you want to do is blow it up. That tends to spread it all over the place.
