I’m vicariously living winter through the weather alert thread. 65 here today. I think I miss having seasons. I don’t envy these extremes though. I suppose we got ours with the 30+ days of 110+ degree days last summer.

Anyway. Small road trip to Wickenburg, found something interesting in Vulture City Ghost Town.

What a weekend, a lot of emotions brought forward. My mother has been gone over twenty years, but sometimes it is still hard. Anyway. Nice sunset. The birbs came. Then it vanished, and was gone.

HOA maintains, we pay about $1,200/yr in dues, which seems reasonable to me for what we get.

Let me explain. No, it is too much. Let me sum up. I wrecked my car, messed up my neck and back, but by happenstance already had a Mexico vacation planned, so all I had to do was endure a three hour car ride and now I get to recover on the beach for the next five days. Can’t complain. A different sunset.

Wow, it’s been a week. Was in Atlanta Monday thru Thursday for work, now enjoying some R&R back in Rocky Point, Mexico. Conversation pit that squirt denoted “The Devil Worshipping Pit.” lol.

My hotel room was arty. The Atlanta Zoo The Cubbies won. I remember many summer afternoons spent watching the Cubbies with my grandfather. It was nice to see them victorious for once.
