I went to work for bad people once. I didn't know they were bad people when I started, and I didn't know they were bad people when I left.

They were in jail 24 months after I left for Insurance Fraud.

I can't say I was shocked when I found out though. I mean I did know they were assholes playing on the fringes, but I didn't think they were actual crooks.

My first accounting job after I got out of the Army was with United Fruit (Chiquita) where I was hired more because I was familiar with Central America than I was with Accounting. In college I worked on the janitorial crew at night at the school. There were a number of us who were students; our boss was a hearty good old boy with a young family.

One day I went to work and only a handful the crew was there. Turns out the boss was scamming the college by clocking people in when they were sick and splitting the days’ pay.

He never pulled me into his scam because I was “a good girl”.

Fox News is mad that VP Harris was nice to a trans person. Harris Faulkner opines that she should instead spend her time interacting with "some of those parents whose kids are dying from fentanyl."

I had F&F on a bit this morning. They were on the couch talking DeSantis vs Trump. Seems like they're leaving DeSantis and LOL Kilmeade actually made some comment about Trump will have a hard time winning over the undecided voters if he keeps dropping names like Horse Face.

i was expecting very ugly stuff from Tucker Carlson about the Nashville shooting, and it still might come, but at the top of his show he did the same thing as Jesse Watters the hour before -- mention it briefly and then move on to other stories

Saw a few minutes of F&F this morning. The three on the curvy couch were whining about crime in New York, and spike in the subways - which is fair. But...then Ainsley starting pouting about it being so bad because is was mostly dems who won the last election cycle and how much better if Republicans were in charge. I'd so like to get a comment from her about this:

“We’re not gonna fix it. Criminals are going to be criminals.”

We can't stop criminals from murdering actual living, breathing children so let's get busy on that abortion ban. There are women out there thinking they have control over their own bodies.
