I agree with Foggy, but I have been wrong in every single prediction I've made this year, so take it for what it's worth. :oldlady:

I agree. I hear him speak, and he doesn't seem to speak anymore without slurring his speech. He may not realize it, but surely someone must. That's not even getting into his incompetence at debates.

He will just prepare several policy positions and recite them when his microphone is on regardless of the question at hand.

Trump doesn't have policy positions. He has hateful, whining harangues.

You can be sure that much of his time, assuming he shows up, will be devoted to a harangue about how he really won the 2020 election, and how he was railroaded by the New York courts that found him to be a rapist and a fraudster.

He won't answer any questions directly. Instead, he will go on and on about how Biden accepted bribes from Ukraine, or how Biden is senile or Biden is persecuting him in the courts, using his weaponized DOJ.

Hey, there's an idea for a good drinking game. Perhaps it will make the debate more bearable if you take a shot every time Trump uses the word "weaponized" or the phrase "sleep Joe". No one playing this game will be conscious at the end of the debate.

I would be shocked if he was expressed a policy* more granular than “I will build an iron dome!” And everything else will be spewing hate and lies and personal abuse.

I'm not sure what you intended to say, but given his recent troubles over inappropriate touching, I find this typo hilarious

I'm not sure that's much better to say "he was expressed" like you're talking about your dog's anal glands.

Actually, it might be better.

Having had to do that for a Cocker Spaniel we once had, that was my first thought, as well. Now, there's a mental image I could have done without.

Weren't the charges against Epstein state charges, meaning that Trump could not de-classify them. Besides, I'm not sure that "classified" is the right word anyway. That word has more national security implications. The Epstein stuff would be police and court records, not "classified" documents.

There were several objects mentioned, one was classified documents, then "how about Epstein". I guess most of Epstein material are court documents. Some from Florida, that iirc has been (partially) released, some that have found their way into the case against Ghislaine Maxwell, a federal case, and I guess the government can order neither judicial systems to release documents. I guess the FBI has certain papers that may be availabel under FOIA.

But the notable part was that #45 had no compulsion against releasing classified government documents, but squirmed when asked about the Epstein papers ... some people may feel uncomfortable.
