People attach themselves to the former president because they are chasing dollars and status; Santos couldn't deliver that in sufficient quantities to be worth the hassle.

Too also: The control of the House is very much in play next year; Santos was an obvious drag on the congressional brand.

Former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) in late night posts on social media pledged to file ethics complaints against several of his House colleagues after he was expelled from office Friday.

His threats were levied against Reps. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Nick LaLota (R-N.Y.) and Rob Menendez (D-N.J.) over campaign finance violations and other ethics claims. The embattled former lawmaker said he will file official complaints on Monday.

New York Republicans led the GOP push to oust Santos, who was himself accused of campaign finance violations, lying to donors and fraud. He faces 23 criminal charges for his alleged conduct, including wire fraud, identity theft and theft of public funds, but has not been tried.

Santos said the complaint against Malliotakis will focus on “her questionable stock trading since joining the Ways and Means committee this Congress.”

who he accused of attending school while he was on the clock at a government job.

“Did Rep Lalota no-show to his tax pay funded job while going to school and if so he can potential have stolen public funds from the tax payers of NY?” Santos asked.

If history has shown us anything, hell hath no fury like a lying conman scorned.

What are your thoughts about Santos spilling tea about his former colleagues?

Are you sure? Santos was probably President in one version of his resumé!

One of the less recognized was his status as the first non-incumbent, openly gay Republican elected Congress, particularly at a time when LGBTQ rights have once again become a target of the right.

And in a sit-down with a group of reporters on Capitol Hill on Thursday — the day before his historic expulsion from Congress — the scandal-plagued Republican took a swipe at what most consider to be the foremost achievement of the LGBTQ rights movement.

"I was an opposer of gay marriage," Santos said in response to a question about his relationships with more conservative House Republicans, according to audio obtained by Business Insider.

He is gay-ish in the same way he is jew-ish.

I've not seen him with a partner/husband.
