I'm impressed she knows what the word urination means.
Maybe she cleaned it up, instead of saying "pissing".
I remember a story about Harry Truman. Apparently, some Washington women were complaining to his wife, Bess, about Harry's frequent use of the word "manure". She replied, "It took me twenty years to get him to use that word".
Tyler is going to have a hard time being a good father if he keeps missing his court dates and ends up in the pokey.

He’s not going to end up in the pokey. He didn’t even get a bench warrant.

Boo. Hiss.

I don't think we need to start locking up teenagers for traffic court. There is some question that he may have called the court to request a continuance before the hearing. He got one, whether before the hearing or after.
No, to me the scandal is how did they reduce the charge from an actual "you drove the car wrong and injured somebody" charge to a "you had a broken headlight" (really) charge.
How often does a broken light bulb lead to a black teenager getting cuffed, beaten or killed and an actual accident that hurt somebody gets downgraded. When I was a kid, and I know this because it happened to me, Ohio had a no exceptions policy on minors and traffic court. You had to go to court and if you got a second ticket, for anything, before you were 18 your license was suspended until you turned 18.

You don't have to consent, but I'm gonna tase you anyway.
Also too in Ohio 3 moving violations before age 21 got your DL REVOKED. Don't ask how I know this. Interesting aside; the revocation was effective as of the date of the third violation. The person who told me this story didn't receive notice of the revocation until 7 months after the third violation so it was actually a 5 month revocation but boy did my that person's insurance premium take a hit.
Bobo refining her new skill of making shit up as she goes.
A woman in an Ohio Target loaded up her cart with over $1000 in groceries and once she got to the register began violently berating the employees demanding reparations.
This is the story from April 11 that Bobo was referring to. The Right Wing news is all over this. Black people asking for reparations is an instant trigger for Fox and Kin.
Karen Ivery told police she was having 'a larger conversation about how money works'
I have not found anything to suggest Karen Ivery has a criminal history, or emotional issues, or is an activist. So, who knows what brought this on. She has already spent one night in jail and paid a fine. Whether this goes any further is TBD. But, you can see that Bobo wants to tease this thread and knit something new out of it.

After reading that, I have no idea what the hell was going on. The woman was probably at fault, but its Fox so who knows.
Her credit card got declined for the $1000 purchase, she then wanted the balance be paid by "reparations cause black", and then went off the rails. The loss prevention manager toook her to his office where she attacked him and he punched her. Police arrive later. (Management summary from several articles)

Thanks. I appreciate your sacrifice of Brain Cells for the cause.

Definitely thank you. I didn't find the original cause - declined card. Now it's starting to make some sense. Unfortunately she started a firestorm of rightwing outrage. She played the Smollet card with that one little word reparations, and now they are all in a tizzy. Oy vey.
Maybe this should be in The Stupid Thread (though I still think Bobo is trying to get some mileage out of this).

A story that might have made a local police blotter 40 years ago is fuel for rightwing rage, so they bring it to the forefront.

Technically she should be glad to come out alive. In the not-too-distant-past the officers with guns could have applied deadly force because "they feared for their lives".

jackletless gym's state. While he is trying to say NY is worse.............
Oh no. Didn't miss that. She wanted to tell the story because there are not very many of "those people" in her district, and she needs to keep fear level raised. This was dog whistle.
