In the very Gilead like country of Iran, Abortion is legal up to 16 weeks and you can get dispensation for further along. THIRD, if someone has not already gone for sterilisation because they have made the choice not to have any more children, then they are using Abortion as Contraception. That is not fucking cool. No, women wont be dying because of lack or reproductive choices,. The year Roe was decided, the actual number of women who died from Illegal abortions was 42. In 2022 the number of women who died from "safe legal abortion" was 8. Yes, women STILL DIE FROM ABORTION.

Any neutral observer would conclude that Roe had had zero effect on women dying from Abortions, as the increase in women surviving tracks with the general improvement in care, and the general drop in women dying from pregnancy complications. And no the problem with IVF treatment is not that some embryos will be non viable. it's that perfectly viable embryos will be destroyed at the end. You are destroying Embryos that would potentially grow up to be perfectly fine humans just because they are not wanted anymore. That's not easily dismissed with bullshit like "oh its the mothers choice." The morality of IVF has been a topic of debate in the medical profession for years, and it was discussed in ethics classes when I was in college.

This isn't anything new, and it's something lots of people are uncomfortable with invcludong non religious people. Its not just a factor of "oh they want it so it should be done." There's lots of things people want to do to their bodies that are illegal for good reason.
