I remember a "diet" recipe from the 70s that was made of a box of green jello, a can of crushed pineapple, and a container of cottage cheese. And it was just one serving.

The most birther-esque claims:
1. A book not written by Walz said that Walz had served in Afghanistan (he did not). "Why didn't Walz correct someone else's mistake?" (This one really mirrors the Dreams from My Father pamphlet claim.)
2. Walz said he had carried a military weapon "in war." I get that implies on the battlefield (or some other forward operation), and that haggling over the when ("during a war") versus the where ("on the battlefield") is a losing, distracting argument.
For all the uber gun loving that you see from the rwnj's, I just think it's so cool that Walz has been a basic Midwest hunter with a dog. That is such a Midwest thing to be. But I dearly love that fact that our liberal governor was a sharpshooter in the National Guard. When it comes to protecting the country, I'll go with the sharpshooter vs the bone spurred golfer.
Vance is unbelievably bad on the road and I'm really surprised that Trump isn't out having more rallies. I thought he loved to have his adoring public cheering for him. There's always MAGA groups even in the Blue states if you just go to the right area. So - really - what's the story with Trump just spending his days golfing? Yes, he's called in to FoxNews and he did the press conference today, but those aren't going to pump up his base. It just seems weird.
Edited - I guess this could have gone in the Trump thread, but it just shows how Trump is not competing against Harris right now.
