re: the peculiar issue that wire transfer would be available. That would indicate that the organizers are expecting a sizable number of foreigners to sign up for the event. I do not know how top end credit cards work, even they may have a limit on transfers. IFF such money goes into the coffers of the former guy, it really must go well concealed thru several layers of hotels and event organizers to prevent from showing up as illegal foreign campaign donation.

Giuliani’s political action committee raised just over $727,000 from August through December, according to the FEC filing Thursday. His son Andrew Giuliani, who is helping run the PAC, did not return a request for comment on the haul.

The single biggest donation came from a Corona del Mar, California, woman named Caryn Borland, who donated $300,000, more than 40% of the total donations to Giuliani, the filing shows.

The former guy has a problem filling townhalls in the US with a few supporters, no longer his bombastic rallies. And his world wide supporters are few and far apart.

As Foggy once said, its not fair to compare him to Hitler. Hitler, whatever else you could say about him, was tough. He fought his way up from the Beer Halls in fistfights against Communists and other gangs. Turnip hasn't seen a fight he hasn't run away from. Hitler served in the Military. Hitler had Artistic talent, he could have made his way as an Architect. Turnip has made bad Golfing resorts and used to do terrible bad taste building projects.

So no, you cant compare Turnip to Hitler.

Taylor Swift could leave them reeling if she desired. I don't follow her music, but I have always admired her: she writes her own songs, she runs her own business, she is smart. I don't think the right realizes how smart she is. To them, she is just a girl.

I don't believe for a single second that she writes her own songs, anymore than I believe Beyonce can sing without an Autotuner or Turnip wrote every one of his books, because it's a constant refrain of the Swifties. And yet... lots of Artists write their own songs. It's not actually a massive deal if you do, nor is it a big deal if you are a singer that has other people write songs for you. But the fact that its been made out to be this YUGE thing about her in particular tells me that its been made part of the marketing.

And just like every accusation is a confession, then every marketing gimmick is a lie. She's a brand, and she gets her songs written at this point. Or at the very least has them washed through about a dozen committees before they are handed back to her.

And honestly I've listened to some of her songs since this blew up, and I cant remember a single one of them. It's just mush. I guess she's ok, but honestly all I can remember about her is her lipstick.

All this nonsense however is making me spit on both sides and wonder if I'm the dumber one for responding to this shit. But, again, its something thats being shoved into my consciousness against my will and that makes me want to tell both sides to get lost.
