My understanding is that when the military decides to leave equipment behind, it is destroyed (rendered unusable). It not like we left the keys in the ignition for them to joyride around in.

Anything valuable and transportable was evacuated. The Taliban were left with scrap metal for recycling. Their talents can be redirected to foundry metal working. Guns to plowshares!
I do not expect that the Taliban had any longer any use for the MRAPs, except some of their leaders may be afraid that some other dear comrades may want to expire them early with a well proven IED of own ingenuity
