:confuzzled: Is it bad if me to have little sympathy for Dunphy? Normally I am massively on the side of female victims of appalling male sexual assault and misconduct, but … wtf?!?! :o

She chose to be with that asshole, course to believe his lies, bought an implausible sorry about buckets of money coming her way if she assisted him in duplicity, and apparently kept going back for more?

I'm prepared to be persuaded that I should be more sympathetic but at the moment it just looks like a case that demands an increased order of  to accompany :bored: and :knitting:

The psychology of abuse is complicated. Many victims, in hindsight, are like wtf was I thinking? But at the time they feel trapped.

I read the entire complaint (not just the notice and summons). It’s damning, if true. And a lot of it was apparently recorded.

She’s going to stand in line behind a lot of people, and by the time Giuliani’s assets are split up, the only thing she’ll have is a judgment that she likely can’t enforce.

But the book deals will be lucrative. I’m not making any judgments about that - girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

True. Dominion has first dibs on Rudy's assets, if any.

None of this is really new, is it? Wasn't there a female reporter who reported in her stories a few years of Rudy being a drunk slob and she played along on the restaurant outings to get a scoop. Nope, nothing new here.

Thank you. <3 When you've been conditioned by your upbringing, society, and life experiences to think that sexual abuse is acceptable or normal, or, most damning, encouraged and expected, you are ripe for being groomed (she was mightily groomed); you hate it, but you submit. And if the abuser is in a position of power over you?

I read the whole complaint too. She reminds me of many people I know who just do what they're told, or perhaps its better to say, what they are asked to do, no matter how destructive to themselves.

I ask because I am 71 and I enjoy some white wine in the evening, for which I get lectured by my doctors. I'll bet no doctor dcared to lecture Rudy.

Will House & Senate Republicans even ATTEMPT to hold anyone accountable following the damning Durham Report?

No wonder President Trump won in 2016. Today's Democrat Party is destroying America and the Republican Party seems almost indistiguishable at times. #AmericasMayorLive 🇺🇲

Trump was talking about it openly, told reporters that he’d only accept the results for sure if he won, and otherwise, “we’ll see,” or something like that. We all know at the time this was the plan.
IIRC, he was already setting it up, long before the election. I distinctly remember seeing him say that the only way he could lose the election is if the Democrats stole it.

Trump first mentioned voter fraud in April, so he was already aware he was going to lose.

... and he would have won easily, if he had done the job when COVID-19 came along. If he had just stepped up to the plate for that, he could have kept criming on everything else, and have the Revenge Presidency he dreams about today.

We dodged a bullet there.

A Staten Island ShopRite employee has sued former mayor Rudy Giuliani over an incident that landed the store worker in jail overnight on charges that were quickly dismissed.

It’s the second time this week Giuliani has been sued in New York City.

Now Rudy getting sued over it.

Bruce Castor dumps Rudy Giuliani as a client: ‘He’s not cooperating, and he’s not paying me’
James Savage, a Delaware County voting-machine supervisor, sued Trump, his 2020 presidential campaign, Giuliani, and two local Republican poll watchers in November 2021.

by Chris Brennan
Updated on May 20, 2023, 10:25 a.m.

Bruce Castor, the former Montgomery County district attorney and county commissioner who represented former President Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial, filed an eight-page motion in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court on Tuesday, asking to no longer represent former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani in a civil suit.

Castor summed up his gripe about Giuliani to Clout more succinctly: “He’s not cooperating, and he’s not paying me.”

James Savage, a Delaware County voting-machine supervisor, sued Trump, his 2020 presidential campaign, Giuliani, and two local Republican poll watchers in November 2021, saying their unsubstantiated claims about the 2020 election made him a target of hatred, ridicule, and physical threats.

Castor initially agreed to serve as Giuliani’s local lawyer but a lawyer from Texas was supposed to take over from there. That didn’t happen, and Castor, according to his motion, reluctantly tried to defend Giuliani.

Giuliani to Newsmax: DOJ Overlooked Evidence of Biden Bribery

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a onetime attorney for former President Donald Trump, told Newsmax that evidence of a pay-for-play scheme allegedly perpetrated by President Joe Biden was swept under the rug by the Department of Justice.

Speaking in regard to special counsel Jack Smith, whose investigation into Trump's handling of classified documents led to the former president's federal indictment, Giuliani said on "Saturday Report," that Smith "said that in the United States, there's one system of laws and it ... applies equally to everyone."

"Well, of course, that's the most ridiculous, idiotic statement to make on a day in which we find out that the Bidens took a $10 million bribe fom a Ukrainian Mykola Zlochevsky, which I could have told you, you know, and did tell [the DOJ] three years ago. And they followed up on none of the evidence I gave them. They were hoping that people would disappear or die. It's extraordinary."

Is it me, or is the amount of the imaginary bribe climbing with each telling? Like the way the single tape no one has confirmed exists has become multiple tapes that no one can confirm exist.

Republican lies are inflationary, and their invisible whistleblowers, who mysteriously never produce any actual evidence, always die mysteriously, after disappearing mysteriously, after being mysteriously unidentifiable, to protect their mysterious identities so that Hillary/Obama/Biden can't add to their body count that is higher than Pinochet's, and hide the evidence that never existed.

Yup. It's like the amount of money Obama supposedly paid to hide his records. It went from a few hundred thousand to 3 million with each retelling. One person told me 3 million them 10 for biden in two different tweets.

Simple to prove.

Just show me those bank deposits, or wire transfers or whatever. Unless they paid in Green Stamps. And don't to sayin' nuthin about that $10 million dollars in "family Biden" accounts over X years. Those are China Bribes and we're talking about Ukraine Bribes only here.

They are Schrödinger's Bribes. Quantum Bribes? Rorschach Bribes? Trying to come up with the best fit on this one.

Oh, I know! I know! IMAGINARY! That's it!
