US Customs and Border Protection officers in Memphis, Tennessee, have seized thousands of fake Covid-19 vaccination cards so far this year.

“Every night” officers are seizing shipments from Shenzhen, China, headed to New Orleans, Louisiana, containing dozens of blank counterfeit vaccination cards, CBP said in a press release Friday.

The cards have spaces where the recipient can write their name, birth date and vaccine information. The cards also come with a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention logo on the top.

“However, there were typos, unfinished words, and some of the Spanish verbiage on the back was misspelled,” CBP said. “How else did they [CBP officers] know it was counterfeit? It was imported by a non-CDC or medical entity, and this was not the first time they had seen this shipper.”

The first day of classes at a Northern California elementary school ended with a bloodied and bruised teacher allegedly beaten by a parent who was upset over seeing his daughter in a mask, according to school officials.

An unidentified father of a student at Sutter Creek Elementary School in Amador County, Calif., arrived after the school had commenced its first day back. He saw his daughter and the principal wearing masks, Amador County Unified School District Superintendent Torie Gibson told KTXL.

He allegedly argued with the principal, left and returned to speak with her again, Gibson said.

An unnamed male teacher intervened, but that led to a physical altercation between the two men that resulted in the teacher needing medical attention at a hospital, KCRA 3 reported.

States will have to create steep penalties for this crap. Unfortunately the last thing you want in jails is more people.

One person stabbed during clash over vaccines in LA

One person has been hospitalized with a stab wound after fights broke out at an anti-vaccination and anti-mask rally between demonstrators and counter-protestors in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The department said in a tweet the fight broke out by Los Angeles City Hall, and an investigation was underway.

Chief White House medical adviser Anthony Fauci on Sunday called on vaccine-hesitant individuals to "put aside" their concerns about personal liberty and recognize the "common enemy" of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"You have to get the overwhelming proportion of people vaccinated, but you also have to do mitigation, and that gets to the controversial issue of mask wearing, and the mandating of things. Mandating vaccines, for example, for teachers and ... personnel in the school," Fauci said while appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation."

Fauci reiterated to guest host Nancy Cordes that although breakthrough cases are being seen in vaccinated individuals, it is the unvaccinated who are becoming seriously ill and dying.

"It's the unvaccinated that are doing that, so we have a lot of tasks. We've got to do mitigation. Put aside all of these issues of concern about liberties and personal liberties and realize we have a common enemy and that common enemy is the virus," Fauci said. "And we really have to go together to get on top of this. Otherwise, we're going to continue to suffer as we're seeing right now."

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, archbishop emeritus of St. Louis, is ill with COVID-19 and has been placed on a ventilator, according to a Saturday night tweet from his Twitter account.

“Doctors are encouraged by his progress. (His Eminence) faithfully prayed the Rosary for those suffering from the virus. On this Vigil of the Assumption, let us now pray the Rosary for him,” the tweet said.

An earlier Tweet on Wednesday announced that he had the disease, said he was resting comfortably and receiving excellent medical care. It asked for prayers and put his trust in divine providence.

Burke, 73, was Archbishop of St. Louis from 2003 to 2008. He went to the Vatican to become a member of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, the highest judicial authority in the Catholic Church, aside from the Pope. He is currently Cardinal Priest of Sant’Agata de’ Goti in Rome.

Elizabeth Westhoff, a friend and his former press secretary, said Saturday night that she confirmed the illness with Burke’s secretary. She said while Burke lives in Rome, he became ill while in Wisconsin, where he was raised. He founded the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 2008.

“He certainly is a good and faithful son of the church,” Westhoff said. “He has been a wonderful spiritual father to me and to many, many other people around the world who look to him for orthodox teachings when it comes to issues concerning the church.” Westhoff said she is praying for his full and fast recovery. “Knowing him, I’m sure that he is offering this up, as we say in the church, for those who are suffering from COVID right now along with him,” she said.

According to the National Catholic Reporter, Burke “has expressed skepticism about the need for distancing measures to contain the coronavirus and has opposed mandatory vaccination schemes.”

In a homily given last December, Burke called COVID the “Wuhan virus,” and said, “It has been used by certain forces inimical to families and to the freedom of nations, to advance their evil agenda.”

According to LifeSiteNews.Com, Burke in a May 2020 address to the Rome Life Forum said vaccinations should not be forced "in a totalitarian manner" on people.

Burke, the website said, also said "there is a certain movement to insist that now everyone must be vaccinated against the coronavirus COVID-19 and even that a kind of microchip needs to be placed under the skin of every person, so that any moment he or she can be controlled by the State regarding health and about other matters which we can only imagine."

South Carolina Tea Party Leader Takes A Turn For The Worse

Eleven days ago my news outlet reported on the plight of Pressley Stutts – leader of the Greenville Tea Party and a recently elected South Carolina Republican Party (SCGOP) executive committeeman. Stutts was hospitalized late last month with Covid-19 and attendant illnesses and has been battling them ever since.

According to my sources, Stutts has taken a turn for the worse over the last few days – news which took many of his supporters by surprise after he posted a photograph to his Facebook page on Monday touting his progress and noting that he was “cautiously optimistic.”

As I noted in my original coverage, neither Stutts nor his wife – who also contracted Covid-19 but has since been released from the hospital – have been vaccinated against the virus.
