Has anyone mentioned it is 4-3-2-1 day yet?
Re: Hijack This Thread
At 5 AM, it was 5-4-3-2-1.

Mister took Gab at one time for Gran Mal. Youngest took it for his spinal cord injury/nerve pain. Neither of them had any relief. But it has been a wonderful relief for many folks with various issues.
Re: Hijack This Thread
I tried Neurontin once, and only took half the dose. I slept for almost 24 hours and still had the pain. I also went through a series of increasingly strong pain medication when I fractured my pelvis and sacrum a number of years ago. I started with either Darvon or Percocet (too long ago to remember which) and ended up with an Oxycintin patch. Even that didn’t really relieve the pain and I had terrible side effects. I’m highly sensitive to medications and have learned to live with severe arthritis, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, and scoliosis. I take extra-strength Tylenol three times a day and hope for the best.

Re: Hijack This Thread
Yeah, well, Happy Easter.
There's a guy a few miles from here who runs a self-storage business, and he has an electronic sign that he uses to spread the Word of God. He changes the message now and then.
Right now it says:
But nobody ever says "Trees are real." It's pretty self-evident that trees are real. Even among flat-Earthers, birthers, and other delusional morons, people kind of universally understand that trees are real.
And there are consequences for trees being real, like it's a good idea not to drive your car into them, and they provide wood that allows you to sit on a chair and stuff.
And there are lots of things that are pretty much self-evidently real, and nobody feels like they have to convince me that real things are real.
So for someone to feel that they have to tell me that God is real seems to be kind of a problem, a weakness. If God is real the way trees are real, nobody would have to tell me about it. I would already know, like I know about trees and stuff.
Just sayin'. 'Course, trees don't love me, so there's that ...

Right now it says:
God is real.
God is (OK, I forgotted the second one).
God is powerful.
God loves you.

Here's a real Easter Tree with eggs that aren't real.

Re: Hijack This Thread
I live in Virginia on a 30 acre patch surrounded by literally thousands of acres of nothing but trees and fields. As of this morning I swear ALL the trees are busting with pollen all at once and my poor nose is uncontrollably running. I'm walking around the house mouth breathing with my nose covered in Vaseline and a Kleenex stuffed in and just hanging from each nostril. I can't wipe my poor nose another time, it's so raw it hurts to even blot it.
This all started just this morning! So far I've had Allegra, Benadryl, Flonase, Afrin and Advil which was pretty much everything relevant I could find. The older I get the worse spring seems to treat me, I never had allergies as a kid/young person. This is ridiculous!
Re: Hijack This Thread
I never had any allergies when I was younger at all. Over about the last five years that has changed. I don't have any seasonal allergies, but some things set me off, mostly rashes, and I can't always figure out what. A few winters ago, I went out in a cashmere sweater. I had to buy a new top while I was out, I was itching so badly. I have worn cashmere for years, lived in it in the winter, with no problem at all, ever. Now I can't wear any of them anymore. Cologne is iffy, too, although I don't wear it that often, so no big deal.

Moar Hair 'cause I love this musical
Oh and the Cowsills version of the same song:
I am willing to be corrected, but I believe the Patridge Family was loosely based on the Cowsill family of singers. Too lazy to go find a link right now

That’s what I recall... Indian Lake is a scene you should make with your little one ...

Last one (maybe) before I walk away from Youtube.

It will also be the Coast Guard’s 231st birthday. Semper Peratus!
