Fogbow is a middleware that comprises a suite of microservices, allowing the simple, efficient, and as non-intrusive as possible federation of IaaS providers. These services can be either local services that run entirely in the administrative domain of an IaaS provider that belongs to the federation (a site, for short), or federated ones, that need to interact with their counterparts running in the other sites of the federation.
Instances of federated services deployed at different sites of the federation use a firewall-friendly messaging service to communicate. The latter must be available at each site of the federation.
The Resource Allocation Service (RAS) is a federated service in charge of routing resource management requests to the appropriate cloud orchestrator running at the provider site. Together with the messaging service, these are the only services that need to be installed in all sites. All other services are optional, and site administrators can autonomously decide which of them they will deploy in their sites.
Fogbow has been designed to make its extension a simple task. Its microservice-based architecture facilitate the introduction of new funcionalities as standalone services, as well as the composition of services to provide enhanced funcitionalities. Moreover, the mandatory RAS can be enhanced and customized via the development of appropriate plugins. Moreover, a high test coverage of the source code is enforced.
Fogbow provides a RESTful API that applications can use to seamlessly manage resources in any of the IaaS providers that belong to a particular federation, no matter which cloud orchestrator middleware are used by these providers. Currently, there is support for the most popular cloud orchestrator middleware available (eg. OpenStack, CloudStack and others). Moreover, adding support to other cloud middleware is simply a matter of developing the appropriate interoperability plugins. For those users that want to interact directly with the system to manage their resources, Fogbow also provides command line and graphical interfaces. See the USE IT section for more details.

Nothing to do with us, of course, just an interesting new company.

Yeah, and there isn't a TLD in the list that interests me. I'd probably have to pay real money to buy just plain fogbow dot com, and would it change our lives any?
No, it would not.
We're good where we are, I can prove ownership of our domain going back to 2010, this new kid can't claim copyright violation or anything. Hell, I'm probably safe from Warner Bros. by now, I've been pretending to be a cartoon rooster since 2003.
Now, if'n the International Association of Fogbows comes after me ...
No, it would not.

'Tis a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
Somebody or other, I forget who, said that a while ago, but it's relevant here.
I used to be a marketing guy for an early middleware software company in the 1990s, and this is absolutely 100% buzzword compliant, but when you cancel out the cliched buzzwords, there's absolutely no content left that tells you what it actually does or why it's something a person should consider using.

Which is exactly true with at least half the effing apps on my phone. My
Samsung phone keeps prompting me to get started or log on to something called FREE. But it doesnt say why I need it, how I use it, or where it came from. And thats just one of many.

Re: Fogbow is a middleware that comprises a suite of microservices ...
"Free" is their magic does-it-all assistant, like the Google voice assistant. It's the thing that used to be called Bixby, which was one of the dumbest names ever. "Free" is fractionally less dumb, which is something of an improvement. Apple has something similar and similarly useless, so don't go thinking that this sort of stupidity is specific to Samsung.
As I recall, people buy phones overwhelmingly based on camera quality, screen resolution and battery life. Absolutely nobody buys the phone based on the hardware manufacturer's "does it all" portal app that they think will differentiate their brand of phone from other Android makers. Google assistant and Siri are all that anyone cares about.

Re: Fogbow is a middleware that comprises a suite of microservices ...
You can easily turn off Free (or Bixby)
First, tap and hold a blank space on the home screen.
The home screen will zoom out, and you can swipe over to the left-most page, which is Samsung Free.
Simply toggle the switch at the top of the page off.
That’s it! Samsung Free will no longer be on the left-most home screen page. You can bring it back to your Samsung Galaxy home screen at any time by following the same steps and toggling the switch back on.

Thanks. I have been too lazy to figure out how to turn off Free or Bixby, or whatever there was before that (if it had a different name earlier). However, if somebody is so nice as to give the instructions I was too lazy to look up, it'd be rude to not actually use them.
