I’m beside myself with worry about Addie. She hasn’t reregistered since the Great Undoing. Where is she?!? Does anyone have her email?

I think she emailed me last night, but from an email address I didn't recognize, and she didn't say much except that she's alive.

I did look up the email's IP address and it looks legit. I'm 90% sure it's her. But I asked for confirmation, so I'm waiting for that.

Here's the thing: For more than a year she kept telling me that she needed a break, and she was going to leave the forum for a couple months. But she never did quite manage to take her break, because as you know, life kept being tremendously exciting in this great land of ours (in a bad way), even after that Former Guy left office and went to become a Florida Man. So Addie kept posting and keeping us up to date on current events, like she does.

When my former hosting company crashed and lost the forum, coincidentally it was a time when things really looked like they had calmed down for the foreseeable future, because President Biden seems to have things well in hand. So I think she decided she was FINALLY going to take the sabbatical that she had planned for more than a year. I really haven't been too worried about her, she's super smart and she knows how to rejoin the forum when she thinks the time is right.

I miss her, and we're not as well-informed about current events on this little blue planet without her. But I am pretty sure she's OK, and I'm just waiting patiently for her to join us again.

Does anyone have a way to to contact our US Aussie friend in Australia. I think she went by Majido or some such thing. Her son was born deaf, got the implant, and was excelling. Also, she is Mormon and explained to us the support she felt from her church. I miss her.

I can't remember the exact screen name, but I know who you are talking about. I hope she shows up! I remember all of her posts where she shared lots of really good information about the Mormon religion. It was really interesting and very helpful in discussion the Bundy's. So good to see some of the folks trickling in!
