I sure do hope the rest of the folks who were born Jan 3 make it back to the new Fogbow! I can't remember who they all were, but there were quite a handful, it was always so funny to read the thread title - it went on and on!

LOL, it's been quite a start to the new year. First, went to visit my Mom on New Years Day. My car started acting up about a mile from her house, but I managed to roll it into her driveway. Of course, nothing was open, so I couldn't rent a car - had to call my sister to come get me. So, Monday when everything opened I reserved a car from Enterprise. I had a doctor's appointment that same day (my birthday), and I already know they can't see me until Jan 17 if I missed it, and I can't get a prescription without seeing the doctor and I was going to be out of my meds on Monday evening.

So, I get to Enterprise and guess what? After standing in line for an HOUR with a car already reserved, we noticed all the sudden all the employees were whispering to each other behind the counter, pretty soon we all figured out by how they were acting that we might have some bad news. Yep - there was a screw up somewhere in the system and they figured out they did not have the cars they were supposed to have. I ended up having to call Lyft and get a ride back home, and no rental car. So, I had to find someone to take me to my doctor appointment. I have a rare condition called CRPS and the closest doctor that treats it is 1.5 hours down the highway. Lyft was going to cost me a couple hundred or more bucks each way. So, I finally got my brother in law to take me to my doctor appointment.

I got treated to several of the conspiracy theories about Dr Fauci before I changed the subject and kept him busy with conversation that steered away from rwnj conspiracy theories. Three hours of that on any day is bad, but three hours of that on my birthday?

LOL. Interesting enough, I didn't let all that throw me, and I actually enjoyed my day.

So, I got a car today from a different rental car company and now I have to make another 1.5 trip each way to pick up my meds. Which weren't ready yesterday.
