@JuliaDavisNews Experts agreed that the response would be nonlinear, asymmetrical & dirty: from underhanded tactics to undermine US vaccines, to impeding US businessmen operating in Russia, to stopping cooperation in space & interfering in US relations with Iran & China.

Putin says he wishes Biden health. "Be healthy!" he says, smirking at the camera. "I am not joking or being ironic."
Seems like the unironic translation is either "Sucks you're so old and I'll outlive you," or "Nice health you have there. Shame if anything happened to it..."
UPDATE: My father, who is more fluent in this particular flavor of Russian, contends that this more like the Southern "bless his heart."

Well Putin got Trump elected and caused hundreds of thousands of Americans to die from COVID-19 over what should have happened. I would call him a mas murderer.

The Russians are obsessed—OBSESSED—with the idea of Biden debating Putin. They argue that the whole world should be involved in electing the U.S. president.

Russian state media keeps airing clips from Fox News, both of them pushing the ridiculous idea of Biden "debating" with Putin. But it makes perfect sense. The Kremlin and the GOP are equally peeved about losing the last election.

Kremlin-controlled Russian state media keeps demanding that President Biden debate Putin, except now they're describing it as a "duel."

I want somebody to ask Biden what he thinks of Putin’s demand they debate, and have Biden reply with, “oh, isn’t that cute. “

Huh... when arguably not even the Russians are involved in electing the Russian President.

was visited by a team from RT, led by MARIA BUTINA (yes, the same woman convicted in the US of being a Russian agent). She shouted this was the best prison. Navalny then called her a parasite and a servant of the power of thieves.
Russia is amassing unprecedented military might in the Arctic and testing its newest weapons in a region freshly ice-free due to the climate emergency, in a bid to secure its northern coast and open up a key shipping route from Asia to Europe.
Weapons experts and Western officials have expressed particular concern about one Russian 'super-weapon,' the Poseidon 2M39 torpedo. Development of the torpedo is moving fast with Russian President Vladimir Putin requesting an update on a "key stage" of the tests in February from his defense minister Sergei Shoigu, with further tests planned this year, according to multiple reports in state media.
This unmanned stealth torpedo is powered by a nuclear reactor and intended by Russian designers to sneak past coastal defenses -- like those of the US -- on the sea floor.
The device is intended to deliver a warhead of multiple megatons, according to Russian officials, causing radioactive waves that would render swathes of the target coastline uninhabitable for decades.

Moscow annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 and two U.S. warships are due to arrive in the Black Sea this week amid an escalation in fighting in eastern Ukraine, where government forces have battled Russian-backed separatists in a conflict Kyiv says has killed 14,000 people.
“The United States is our adversary and does everything it can to undermine Russia’s position on the world stage,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was cited as saying by Russian news agencies.
“We do not see any other elements in their approach. Those are our conclusions,” the agencies quoted him as saying.
The comment suggests that the veneer of diplomatic niceties that the former Cold War enemies have generally sought to observe in recent decades is wearing thin.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken affirmed the United States’ “unwavering support” for Ukraine’s territorial integrity as it faces aggression from Russia in a meeting on Tuesday with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
“The secretary expressed concern about Russia’s deliberate actions to escalate tensions with Ukraine, including through its aggressive rhetoric and disinformation, increasing ceasefire violations, and movement of troops in occupied Crimea and near Ukraine’s borders,” the State Department said in a statement.
