Re: Puns
The gas station with the punny sign on RTH10260's video post is on NE 45th Street in Seattle. I used to drive past it at least a couple of times a week, as it was close to a couple of restaurants that I regularly visited pre-COVID (Tilth, Musashi). The bad puns always made me laugh.

My sister also lives nearby and has sent me cell phone pix of relevant signs on occasion.jcolvin2 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 11:06 am The gas station with the punny sign on RTH10260's video post is on NE 45th Street in Seattle. Re: Puns
Years ago, I went into a practice room at the school, and there was a chair but nowhere to put my music. Turns out somebody had broken in and took off with the equipment. When they found him, he stated, "no I did not steal anything. I am making a protest. I'm taking a stand."

Re: Puns
I wonder which they came up with first - the sale slogan or the name of the company. Either way, it's right clever

Considering there is women's clothing in the window, and some subtle misalignment of the sign text, I think it's a photoshop.Kriselda Gray wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 1:35 am I wonder which they came up with first - the sale slogan or the name of the company. Either way, it's right clever

Re: Puns
Awwww.... I wasn't looking at the picture that closely - I just read the shop name and the window text. Still funny, though!bill_g wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 8:53 amConsidering there is women's clothing in the window, and some subtle misalignment of the sign text, I think it's a photoshop.Kriselda Gray wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 1:35 am I wonder which they came up with first - the sale slogan or the name of the company.
