Rand Paul is complaining that he met a young man in his early 20s who works in DC and lost his job because of J6. Says he shouldn’t have been fired because all he did was “wander through” the Capitol, and was “just curious” and “sort of swept up in the crowd.”
Here's Rand missing the opportunity to give that young man a fresh start. Doh!
Not even thought of offering an internship at the Capitol, to see more of the building :?:

Deadbeat doesn't even have a job now. How's he going to pull himself up by his bootstraps if Paul hands him a position on a poop smeared platter?

For an educated man, Rand Paul is a moron.

I know I'm repeating myself but I saw dozens of people skedaddling AWAY from the Capitol after marching there believing the OSG was going to lead another rally, then seeing it all go horribly wrong.

Sooooooo....no.

Does this video really support the claim that it wasn't violent and police were letting people in?

Sure.

And there are countless others that disprove the notion.

Seems like a nice enough guy, I'm sure two months in the clink will set him straight.

His criminal record, lewd acts and wife beating, sounds like:

To paraphrase Inigo Montoya, "I do not think that statute means what he thinks it means". I believe that the Insurrection Act prohibits insurrection. It does not enable it.

I don't have BBC2, but this also premieres on HBO Max today.

I watched the Trailer featuring Fanone (among others) and it looks pretty good.

Lots of unarmed rioters were not killed. Why do they think the cops singled out Ashli Babbitt? Was she a bigger threat to the Biden Crime Family than all the other we the people who were touristing the Capitol that day?

I mean, there must have been a reason she was the only one who died, and it wasn't because she was unarmed.

I heard she was secretly the leader of all the right-wing groups in this great nation, and she had to be taken down.

The whole thing was a black bag operation, with assassination experts from a variety of federal agencies. And it all worked out exactly according to plan, at least so far.

That's what happened in my dream, anyway.
Out from under.

Haven't some poots attempted to have YouTube of FaceBook videos of themselves bragging about their crimes tossed out of court at their inevitable trial? The grounds were that using them violated their fifth amendment rights against self-incrimination.

It didn't work.

As Bob points out, your own public statements are fair game and entirely admissible in court.

Randy Quaid used to be a fairly amusing comedic actor. He was funny in National Lampoon's Vacation.

Then something happened to him. He lost his mind, grew a beard and, last I heard, fled to Canada to avoid prosecution for some relatively minor offense.

I just looked him up on Wikipedia. He's back in the US and is a (no surprise) big Trump supporter.

He's nuttier than the character he played in Independence Day. But he'll never be a hero.

Read an article about Randy Quaid a few years back, and apparently it puts the blame on the massive change in him directly onto his wife, who was a whackjob before he married her. He started going right off the rails after they got married. There was an example of a broadway show he was starring in, and the guy was well liked by everyone, and totally professional. Then she decided to hang around and she pissed off every single member of the cast and crew to the point that the whole production fell apart. She accused everyone else of plots against her and attempts to kill her while wrecking rehearsals and attacking people.

I know this sounds like "blaming a woman," but she really seems to be a full scale nut who has driven him nuts along with her.
