OK, here I am, saving the current results from the poll as a jpg.

Now for the tough part - the poll only allows 10 options max.

Wish me luck, and if you haven't heard from me in, say, three days, well Virginia Tech has an excellent cave rescue team that may be able to pull me out alive. I hope.

OK, new poll is up.

Don't lie to us, that's a HIPAA violation. :fingerwag:

I clicked two Modernas, no booster. I'm still waiting for the "final" decision on boosters. Do I need the Moderna? Probably not. Do I wait six months (now) or do I wait eight months? I feel that I'm relatively safe in waiting for more clarity. While numbers are rising here, they still are not that bad. I did read yesterday, though, the pediatric beds are tight.

And I got my flu shot yesterday!

Got third Pfizer. Arm not sore, no side effects yet. It’s like I’ve been injected with dihydrogen monoxide.

I will reset it soon. I need to put some thought into the choices.
Edit: OK, I see Foggy already reset it. That's fine. Thanks for saving the previous results.

I read an article in my news feed yesterday that said that the Moderna vaccine has shown to be more effective than the Pfizer vaccine after six months by something like 95% to 75%. That is why the booster was approved for the Pfizer vaccine. I think this shows that this is a fluid situation and what is accepted today may not be tomorrow. That said, I am glad that merely by chance we got the Moderna vaccine back in February and March.

If the CDC accepts the recommendations by the ACIP, I will be getting my booster shot post-haste. Including taking PTO the following day or two since I have to burn some before the end of the year.

Yeah, ol' Wifehorn and I are eligible. Over 65, check. Six months since the second Pfizer jab, check (our second jab was March 10th). She is exploring the quickest way to get our third vaccination.

Mine was 5 months ago. No one brought up 6.

I'm eligible now but my doc did an antibody reading the other day and it's over 250 so she said we can wait.

I wonder if my getting the flu shot the other day means I will have to wait a few weeks. My second Moderna was March 10.

Nice halloween avatar!

The FDA doc I heard on MSNBC the other day said to wait a couple weeks between the flu shot and a covid booster. Or the reverse, either way. FWIW.

Thanks for the info on the shots!

Following the CDC decision early this morning, I notified my supervisor that I will be getting the booster as early as next week and taking two days off to recover. His response? "Good! Send me an email and put it on your calendar as soon as you lock it down." I have such a great workplace.

Got Moderna III on Tuesday. Was pretty sore and headachey Wednesday. Pretty much fine now, though the injection site is still a little sore and is still warm to the touch.

Ice, ice, baby.

I got the shingles vaccine the other day and my arm was extremely sore with a big knot and the ice helped almost immediately.

We were able to schedule our 3rd Pfizer shots for this coming Tuesday at CVS. The 2 nearby CVS stores didn't have any openings so we will be going over to the South Fork.

My wife and I both got Moderna shots #3 yesterday. We're both feeling terrible today, but it's worth it.

I'll take the third shot when I qualify. The first jab was easy, the second not so much.
