Woman in line at the Trump rally today says she is hoping that he is about to reveal that he is still the president and “never left ... He’s the 19th president of the Republic ... It’s going to happen soon, because God is in this, and God wins!”

The NYC concert is on CNN right now and it’s pretty good! I submit you will go to bed happier tonight if you watch the concert instead of the criminal!

I checked out the twitter thread. Poopstock is my new favorite word for a trump rally.
May the bridges I burn light my way.

I've heard this argument before, that U.S. Grant (18th) was that last legitimately elected POTUS, but I don't remember why all the rest are illegitimate.

Can anyone refresh my memory? Is it because it was in 1871, during Grant's tenure, that the city of Washington was incorporated and that the whackos think that that means the US became a corporation at that time. Even if that were true, I never heard any of them explain why Trump's 2016 election (or his 2020 re-election) was any more legitimate than all the other post-Grant presidents.

Hope nobody in that crowd has a heart attack, stroke, car accident, sepsis, etc tonight cause that very city is out of ICU space and just today declared a state of emergency due to Covid cases overwhelming their healthcare system🤷‍♀️

A crowd in mid-cheer immediately goes silent and starts jeering Trump when he says that he recommends people take the vaccine.

If TFA says "Take the vaccine" and a crowd of his own supporters boos him, we've got a whole new level of insanity. :blackeye:

It's not 2016 or 2020, it's Q.

In 2016 (and in fantasy land in 2020 too, also) the impopotamus "won" the position of corporate head, or something, not Potus.

At some point in time (a/k/a "Real Soon Now") there will be a magical restoration of "the original Republic" which went into abeyance in 1871, or something.

When that change is declared, there will be a fresh inauguration and who else could be sworn in? After all "he won all 50 States".

So all we need now is an explanation of how there came to be 50 states if nothing since 1871 is legitimate.

My understanding was always that presidents inaugurated in January were fake, but ones in March were real. But we’re clearly past March now, so I dunno :confuzzled:

In other news, oh he isn’t over it. Not anywhere close.

Hey! George Tirebiter was a sacred canine and adopted mascot in the '40s that roamed the campus of that private, intercity university hard by the corner of Figueroa and Jefferson across the street from Exposition Park. Please do not sully his memory!

I still don't understand how George Tirebiter managed to wear that helmet, get up on the horse and wave that silly wooden sword around during halftime at football games.
