Christopher Bruce is not a part of that 98%. His #1 priority at all times is "you're not the boss of me." He doesn't care how much he suffers to achieve that goal, because everything other than "you're not the boss of me" is trivial. He is a fixated individual.
I saw the term "Fixated Individuals Squad" on another thread and I'm trying to integrate it into sovcit discussions. I think it's a terrific shorthand for "this person believes what they want to believe and is not rational." Sovcits, NESARA idiots, Iraqi dinar investors, "access your TDA" people, 9/11 Truthers, conspiracy believers, Trump actually won-ers, fundamentalist fanatics, people who believe any dumbass shit on Facebook, and most elected Republicans are fixated individuals. I like the term because it focuses on the actual problem, in a way that doesn't descend into polemics.

NSW Police formed its Fixated Persons unit in April 2017 to stop single attackers who show warning signs of dangerous extremism but fall below the threshold for investigation by the counter-terrorism command.
"The unit receives numerous referrals each week, which undergo a robust assessment by police and mental health specialists from NSW Health," a police spokeswoman said.
It comprises 17 detectives and acts alongside similar divisions within the Queensland and Victorian police forces.

Yeah, except the immediate aftermath of his "You're not the boss of me" spiel was that they handcuffed him, took him to jail, fed him garbage, tased him, maced him, stuck him in isolation, and convicted him of a crime. His #1 priority at all times is "you're not the boss of me."
In my entire life, I've never had anyone empirically prove they ARE the boss of me like those cops proved they ARE the boss of the Spork. They bossed him around what good, and they made it stick.
He may think they're not his boss, but the facts show otherwise. Truth is, he went to extraordinary lengths to prove that they ARE the boss of him.

Here's an alternate story:
Bruce gets unceremoniously thrown out of the apartment in Frankfort and decides to hit the road. Mrs. Bruce has family in Huntsville so they wander there. The beach life has nothing to do with it.
When he gets to Huntsville Bruce runs a stop sign or drifts into another lane and he gets pulled over. Cops notice his expired Iowa plates and run them. When they find out who he might be they ask for ID and start asking questions, which pisses Thelivingman off. He starts sassing the cops. One thing leads to another and the car gets towed, Bruce gets a trip downtown, (were the facial recognition part of Bruce's story gets hatched). . . and the Bruces are on foot.
Bruce invents the story that he wrecked the car on the way home from a manly job since that tale sounds better than having the cops impound your car.
The cops can't hold Bruce for having no car tags (maybe no driver's license either) so he walks. I mean he literally walks.
A day or so later went the cops find him panhandling. The cops confront him and when he starts sassing them yet again, maybe inventing the "my-ID-got-stolen" story. The cops have had enough and they arrest him for spittin' on the sidewalk, or whatever. Cool Hand Chris completely loses it and ends up in solitary where, after acting even crazier, he gets tased, maced and consequently poops on himself.
His "they-tased-and-maced-me-for-talking-back" story sounds better.
Upon his release Boo Radley With No Teeth calms down after pettin' his little ole doggie and getting a talking' to from the Misses.
Just a thought. . .

Except that if you're a remotely rational and functional person, and if you conclude that the jail is your best option for housing right now (leaving aside the likelihood that those two "ifs" intersect), then what do you do once you arrive at jail?
You shut up. You make as few waves as you can. You make the best you can out of your rather dubious circumstances.
I mean, think about the classic urban tales of elderly folks needing medical care who walk into a bank, politely rob it with a note, let themselves get captured, and get whisked off to a federal medical facility, where they live quietly. If you're going to execute the Remotely Rational and Functional Person Jail Housing PlanSM, then that's the sort of plan you make.

Re: Can't forget sporky. the livingman idiot
In his own way Bruce has a plan. He knows full well that the cops and the courts aren't going to put is crazy arse under the jail. He can act crazy and all he's going to get is a life of poverty and want with a few jailings mixed in there and there.KickahaOta wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 9:49 pmExcept that if you're a remotely rational and functional person, and if you conclude that the jail is your best option for housing right now (leaving aside the likelihood that those two "ifs" intersect), then what do you do once you arrive at jail?

I call upon my supporter to DEMAND the famed security forces of the 699th Airborne Assault Dachshund Regiment intervene and rescue Bunny Dog! The Spork has gone too far.
Replace SQUIRREL with SPORK!
Like Scir said, nobody cares about The Spork but Bunny Dog deserves much, much better. How do we report this abuse to the Huntsville SPCA when The Spork is wandering the streets?

Sporky is one of those few to have the dubious honor of his family being better off without him. Frankly if he truly cared about his wife he'd take off alone for parts unknown or try a very poorly thought out felony and get himself some serious prison time if he just can't work up the courage to do that.

Part of me would totally find the dog a better home...
but part of me, honestly, cannot think of depriving someone their dog.
Spork is nuttier than a Payday bar but I know both of my little bark machines are part of why I don't have more mental health problems than just some moderate depression and occasional need to whap someone in the head with a 2 liter bottle of RC Cola, just because.
I make a lot of jokes, but I couldn't IRL cause someone the pain taking their dog away would surely cause.

Re: Can't forget sporky. the livingman idiot
It's a good point, Gregg. But if The Spork can't provide a safe place for Bunny Dog, that's pretty abusive. Bunny Dog looks sad and overheated. It's tough and understand what you mean. What happened to Bunny Dog when he was in jail? Hope he finds a shelter that accepts pets.
And instead of focusing on Bunny Dog and getting a place to stay, The Spork just ripped off a post from Andrew Torba from GAB without attribution. Would it be that hard to give credit to the folks who posted originally? Andrew: https://gab.com/a/posts/106659951408336118

Christopher Thelivingman
Look at the news from the past few weeks.
The Biden Admin is flagging content for Facebook to censor. The ADL is lobbying the IRS and payment processors to financially censor political dissidents, including Christians and Trump supporters. Facebook is asking millions of people to report their friends as "extremists."
Big Tech is creating a shared database of dissidents to remove them from all platforms at once. Twitter is suspending users who cover audits of the rigged 2020 coup "election." Finally, the American Jewish Congress wants to make "exceptions" to the First Amendment in order to shut Gab down.
Why do they want to shut Gab down so badly? It's simple.
Gab is the only place you can criticize the experimental non-FDA approved vaccine.
Gab is the only place you can criticize the 2020 election and cover the audits happening.
Gab is the only place you can criticize groups like the American Jewish Congress and the ADL, both of whom are working to stifle free speech in America and around the world.
None of these statements are "hateful" or "misinformation." They are facts. We have a fundamental human right to discuss political, medical, and social issues in our society. A small group of very powerful people is working overtime to shut Gab down, and frankly they have been doing so unsuccessfully for five years now. We will not bend the knee to these people and their demands of censorship. We will never stop fighting to protect the free flow of information online as a neutral technology platform that has a simple rule: if it's protected by the First Amendment of the United States of America, it is protected on Gab.

Sporky said that Mrs. Sporky took care of Bunny Dog while he was in jail. She had to sleep on the streets instead of in the shelter she'd been staying at. Sporky said that was the ONLY reason he pleaded guilty (to get Mrs. Sporky off of the streets at night time).orlylicious wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 3:04 pm What happened to Bunny Dog when he was in jail? Re: Can't forget sporky. the livingman idiot
Since 1 January there have been 236,000 deaths in the US from COVID (that's over half a million).Gab is the only place you can criticize the experimental non-FDA approved vaccine.
Since the vaccines were release, 6,000 who received the vaccine have died of something but that does not mean they actually died from the vaccine (heart attacks, strokes, cancer, accidents, etc).
The whole non-FDA approved is a lie anyway. They have authorized it for emergency use which they would not have done if some testing had not happened. So far, since we have both control groups and the immunized group, it looks like the testing is working out just wonderfully.

It would be interesting and possibly entertaining to see the jail videos of this fiasco. It is possible that jail employees egged him on for fun, which isn't excusable, but I've been *egged on and know when to "hold em" and when to "fold em". Body cam and jail videos are the lovliest of baptisms in truth for both sides. Its like sunshine.

After a good deal of thought on the matter, I have a suggestion. I think, as a public service, we should help America's Deadly Spork put together a résumé, and help him get a job. That's always better than begging from Facebook weenies, yesno?
Now, I don't know all the details of his life, but I could draft a rough draft of an outline.
.
EDUCATION: Barely graduated high school, some attempt to take classes at a community college. Majored in shouting down idiotic professors who refused to admit I knew more about everything than they ever will. Took a class in business law, but they wouldn't let me teach the class so I dropped out.
RECENT JOBS FROM WHICH I WAS FIRED: Pizza delivery, are there others? Sporky, feel free to chime in here. Past employment is crucial information. If'n you have any.
FAILED PLANS TO ACHIEVE SOMETHING OR OTHER:

OK, this is a work in progress, I admit it may need a little something ...
