Back in May, tweeted about Fielder's failure. Shameless they raised $95K from 2100 people on that stupid https://www.dominionclassaction.com/ site.
Here's Mike's full thread, a great read.

So, besides offering up the voluntary dismissal, the lawyer throws in some op-ed paragraphs as a bonus?

It is hard to tell who is left and was served as he dismissed a boatload of defendants earlier. It looks like the likely remaining parties who were served, made an appearance, and filed stuff are the various Democratic Committees and the GA gov and SOS.Dave from down under wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 9:10 pm Any chance of costs being awarded?

That got me too. Taking two bites at that apple there. They didn't have the funds to go on (they give as their reason for withdrawal); but if they'd had the funds, their case would have been a valid and important one, like so many other (which they could have won, they imply).humblescribe wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 2:19 pm So, besides offering up the voluntary dismissal, the lawyer throws in some op-ed paragraphs as a bonus?

In the fantasy world where I am Judge p0rtia, I wouldn't let that pass.

City of Detroit's Supplemental Brief in support of sanctions. David Fink has brought some receipts.

Re: 2020 Election Lawsuits
Unlike the plaintiffs' attorneys' filings, Fink's brief actually addresses the issue the judge seemed most interested in; namely, the apparent lack of due diligence on the part of the lawyers in filing affidavits making outlandish claims about the election.
It's a good idea when the judge clearly wants to focus on one particular aspect of a case to at least try to be responsive in any subsequent filings. Not doing so is an...interesting choice?

Re: 2020 Election Lawsuits
Yes.
Although interestingly, Fink did not focus on the pre-filing investigation that should have been performed by plaintiffs’ counsel (perhaps he'll address that on reply, in light of the plaintiffs' lawyers failure to defend their efforts in this round of briefing), but instead on their Rule 11 violation at the July 12 hearing.

Yet, on July 12, 2021, all nine of these attorneys and the attorneys representing them were prepared to foist yet another misrepresentation on this Court without the slightest bit of objective inquiry. This false representation to this Court is particularly troubling when it comes fully six months after the issue of the factual basis for Ramsland’s affidavit was highlighted in the City’s Motion for Sanctions and more than seven months after Ramsland’s significant factual error was raised in the City’s Response to Plaintiffs’ Emergency Motion.

Fink puts "blister" in the word "blistering".
Agree with FRP that the judge told the Krakenites what would be on the final exam and they ignored it.
ETA: Krakenites or Krakenoids?

If you haven’t read this, go read it. Here are a couple words on one of my favorite people, Lin Wood.
And they were all up in his shit:

What great suggestions for what to call the Plaintiffs' lawyers!

The choice of the Kracken was probably more accurate than they thought and for all the the wrong reasons...the Kracken loses at the end. Like they are.
