If you can't lie to yourself, who can you lie to?
Re: trump (the former guy)
But...DFO said he got 75 million +++. Do you mean that he lied?
Re: trump (the former guy)
oh no, not rounding to the nearest 10 million!

What's the Frequency, Kenneth?
Re: trump (the former guy)
So this touches on my hope.. a lot of people simply want trump to die, or end up in jail, or have his kids turn their backs on him, etc. This is all good stuff, but what I would really like to see is trump turning on people. trump didn't rule alone, he was mostly guided and handled by politically experienced people and groups who saw him as a feckless opportunity to get laws they wanted and get people into judgeships. I would love to see trump going on a rampage to destroy the people he was told to put in place.
This would be such an opportunity. If trump really is upset, maybe he should start talking about the guy's career..

Being unqualified is the first qualification you must have in order to be appointed to any position in the trump administration.

Re: trump (the former guy)
Michael Bennett, one of the authors of one of the new books out on the former guy, said on one interview yesterday that he got to know a bunch of former guy groupies who went from rally to rally to rally. They had no life other than this, were already disaffected, etc. A lot of these people were already crazy, and will be happy to go along, no matter what.

C'mon now. Once they've glanced over a candidate's resume and determined they are not qualified, they bring them in for an interview and see how quickly and often they will kiss Der Fuhrer's butt.

That sounds extremely plausible. Miki is one of those traveling groupies to whatever idols she currently worships. Some other birthers did not because somebody has to stay home and hold down the toilet.AndyinPA wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:35 am Michael Bennett, one of the authors of one of the new books out on the former guy, said on one interview yesterday that he got to know a bunch of former guy groupies who went from rally to rally to rally. I have Michael Wolff's new book out from the library. LOL at the lawyers prepping for impeachment trial #2.

Re: trump (the former guy)
Yeah. After I wrote that, I realized that there was one other qualification that might be even more important than being unqualified for the job. You have to publicly, ecstatically, praise the former guy's greatness.
I think it might even be the other way around. They would look for the biggest ass kisser they could, and then look at their other qualifications. Being completely incompetent and unprepared for the proposed position was definitely NOT a show-stopper.
