Hokay, I fixed the Active Topics and Unread Posts in HexagonReborn, which is a beautiful style but I have to shrink the standard header graphic.

I'm going to be updating extensions today, but there should be no interruption of the forum working.
Edit: All done.

This is my current header. Is this as it's supposed to be?

Umm, no. I shall work on it. I updated X-Creamy and it took away my custom logo. But it's updated. :|

Well it isn't centered, but it's small enough.

Sometimes when I hit the "submit" button for a reply, what I have written and the editing window disappear, but nothing gets posted. I wouldn't say that it happens frequently, but it happens often enough to be annoying. It may be associated with doing lots of edits on a reply, but it's hard to say.

I know the drill: problems like this are presumptively caused by something at my end, or by cosmic rays, unless a number of other members have reported similar problems. Consider this the start of a dossier for similar reports. ;)

Hmm. I don't think so, because I would notice pretty quickly if I were no longer logged in. But I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks.

I know that if I leave a reply window open for more than a 10 or 15 minutes and then Submit I get a cryptic error message but if I hit Submit again it usually posts with no problem.

While I have not experienced this issue in awhile, I am in the habit of copying long replies to the clipboard before clicking submit.

Yeah, that would be a good habit to cultivate. I frequently find it easier to do my drafting and revising in a TextEdit document, so that if the reply goes up in smoke all I lose are the final formatting codes. But I don't do that consistently.

Ya, I post a bunch of tables and silly formatting, they're all done in wordpad and copied over. It's a pain to do it once, more than that would be maddening.

I think most of my long posts that were lost were because I changed my mind and cancelled the thing. I'm weird that way.

That's how I do angry e-mails: type all the vitrol then hit "delete". I feel better and the potential receiver is none the wiser.

Lincoln did that with negative letters. He would write up a response then pocket that letter, never sending it.

It's because Bluesky is not responding, which has nothing to do with Fogbow.

Here is the Bluesky link from your last post on Wierd Science. Click on it...

https://bsky.app/profile/tedpavlic.bsky ... ixiajwxs2r

When I click on it right now, nothing comes back. It's up to Bluesky to fix this, not Foggy.

Whatever it was, BlueSky seems to be working correctly now. Which means I fixed BlueSky, of course.
