First aired on Nov 4th 1977, this is from the pilot for the TV series The Incredible Hulk. This was the original transformation sequence, and unlike the other transformations it was filmed like a Horror movie. This scared the crap out of me as a 5 year old. The Makeup was redesigned as the series progressed to make it less scary for the Kids. But in my view this transformation still holds up.
Reputedly, Lou Ferrigno lifted that car for real. But it has to be said that Bill Bixby was an incredible actor and really made the series.
Anyway, this starts off with Dr David Bruce Banner experimenting on himself, then getting frustrated when his Experiment apparently fails... and then he gets more and more stressed as he attempts to drive home in a storm and his wheel blows out...

Not sure if it's really nostalgia, but it's been at least 40 years since I've seen one in person.

I have seen it more often but I am in the Chicago area. One of them got into a pickle on the Tri-State Tollway this summer.
