Looks like Pamela Brown is back on air after her maternity leave. I *think* I read somewhere she'll be taking over the morning hour block Wolf has been anchoring since the latest CNN shake up.
Remember when she had the weekend afternoon news block and that interview she did with Madison Cawthorne? What a beautiful smack down, and she did it so beautifully Cawthorne didn't know what hit him. Good times.

EXCLUSIVE – The hosts and production team of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" were "shocked" on Monday by the circumstances of their show's benching in the aftermath of the stunning assassination attempt on former President Trump, Fox News Digital has learned.
An MSNBC insider said the show's production team was informed by network leadership Cesar Conde – the chair of NBCUniversal News Group – and Rashida Jones – the president of left-leaning cable affiliate MSNBC – that all MSNBC programming on Monday would be supplanted until primetime by a single NBC News programming feed, which would presumably air across all NBC platforms. Hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were also told and assented.
However, a new episode of "Today" on parent network NBC aired as scheduled on Monday morning with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. Those who tuned into MSNBC, NBC's left-leaning cable affiliate, at 6 a.m. to watch "Morning Joe" were greeted with NBC News special reporting from Ana Cabrera and then coverage simulcasting from its streaming service, NBC News Now. The "Morning Joe" X account announced the show would return on Tuesday.
"A lot of people are pissed off," the insider told Fox News Digital. They added Scarborough and Brzezinski would have insisted on going on the air if they'd known there wouldn't be "one feed" for all platforms, as they'd originally been told.

Brian Stelter Returns to CNN as Chief Media Analyst
CNN’s “Reliable Sources” is back. Kind of.
Brian Stelter, a media reporter and pundit who left CNN two years ago amid differences with the network’s previous leadership, is returning to the company as its chief media analyst and writer of its “Reliable Sources” newsletter.
The network’s Sunday morning round table of media criticism that he had hosted, also called “Reliable Sources,” will not return. In his new role, Mr. Stelter will serve as an on-air analyst in addition to writing his newsletter and reporting for the network.
Mr. Stelter, 39, announced his return to CNN on Tuesday in the newsletter he founded, saying he was back at the network in a somewhat different capacity.
“I loved my old life as the anchor of a Sunday morning show but, to borrow some lingo from my video game blogger days, I finished that level of the game,” Mr. Stelter said. “Time for new levels, new challenges.”

—
CNN, one of the most popular news websites in the world, is starting to ask some of its visitors to pay $3.99 a month for access.
On Tuesday, the news organization is laying the first bricks in a so-called paywall that should, over time, help foot the bill for CNN’s journalism around the world.
“Starting today, we are asking users in the United States to pay a small recurring fee for unlimited access to CNN.com’s world-class articles,” Alex MacCallum, CNN’s executive vice president of digital products and services, wrote in an internal memo outlining the plan.
The average visitor to CNN’s website, who may only read a few articles a month, will not be prompted to pay at this time. “Only after users consume a certain number of free articles will they be prompted to subscribe,” MacCallum explained. “In addition to unlimited access to CNN.com’s articles, subscribers will receive benefits like exclusive election features, original documentaries, a curated daily selection of our most distinctive journalism, and fewer digital ads.”
