What I take away from the indictment is that the theft was not even subtle. She just flat-out stole all of the appeal money and diverted it straight from the fund bank account to her own bank account.

She is doing a presser at 2 pm today at the memorial she is in trouble over. Cliven and Tom Renz will supposedly be there and Santilli is gonna stream it on twitter.

Suspended with pay. I hope they get her to trial quickly so she can be fired without pay once she's adjudicated a criminal.
This is just like the Build the Wall scam: announce a thing and that 100% of the money will go to the thing and then keep all the funds for yourself and of course the thing never happens.

I wish a reporter would follow up with donors to these scams. How do they feel about the causes/scammers now?

Am I missing something? I don't see anything in their release that said she was going to be there. It was about here, but it only said Cliven, Santilli, and Renz were having the presser.

Even if it were, I suspect the attorney in her criminal case would have told her no very quickly.

Also, they best be very careful about what they "release." The discovery material is under a protective order so if they start quoting stuff from that, the government will be in court about the defendant or her attorney not abiding by the order.

I shouldn't read so fast but I saw this post from Mrs. Pistilli promoting it. Parker was a no show - I asked him about it and he said it was a scheduling mixup.
