Donald Trump’s plane was diverted on its way to Bozeman, Montana, due to a mechanical issue but landed safely in nearby Billings, according to a staff member at the Billings airport.

The former president was heading to Bozeman for a Friday night rally in support of Republican Senate candidate Tim Sheehy, who is challenging Democratic Sen. Jon Tester.

My town is bigger than Bozeman and our biggest indoor arena hold maybe 3000. The high school football stadium could hold more, I imagine.

Bozeman has a population just over 56K, so it's decent sized. The rally is taking place at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the campus of Montana State University. According to Wikipedia, it has a capacity of 8,455.

Hard to tell. The rally was supposed to start at 8 and usually people would be lined up for hours ahead of time. Here is another posting right outside. There is almost nobody there if you play the video. All the vendors are lined up and getting nothing
