Manhattan Judge April Newbauer just ruled that Steve Bannon will go on trial on Dec 9 for the “We Build the Wall” fraud scheme -- around a month after he completes his current federal prison sentence.
Bannon faces a max of up to 15 years if convicted of the scam that saw Trump supporters robbed of their donations toward a border wall. Trump pardoned him of related federal charges just before leaving office, but he can’t do so again if he wins the election, as it’s a state case
The three other men the feds charged alongside Bannon in 2020 have all been convicted -- two pleaded guilty, and a jury convicted the third at a retrial after his first ended in chaos with a juror alleging a government "witch hunt"
