In theory, SCOTUS could overrule Wong Kim Ark, but note U S. Constitution grants Congress the ability to determine citizenship, and further note Congress already has done so.

Which means Congress (and a willing president) also could take it away.

Buttigieg is a wonderful speaker and really knows how to stick it to conservatives on policy, but he won't put indiana in play. Someone from a South-ish state like KY or NC would likely bring in more voters. I voted for Warren in the (2020) primaries mostly because she's is a better speaker than Harris.

Things have changed now, but Josh Shapiro has said flat out he just became governor in PA two years ago and intends to finish his term. I like the idea of Roy Cooper.

I like Beshears or Cooper - southern appeal. A friend mentioned Kelly (AZ). He's a good moderate white guy with name recognition, but he's also from the West. I do think it needs to be a white guy. A moderate from the South will maybe comfort some swing voters. I love Pete and boy is he good in an interview (and probably debate) but I don't know that he'll bring anyone new. If Harris wins, he'll be back in the administration (I boosted his tweets about air travel refunds, etc after the outage last week).

OTOH I don't know how much difference a VP pick makes. ALTHOUGH this is an unprecedented situation. Maybe people will vote for her to "prove" they're not racists (I don't know how else to figure out people who voted Obama then Trump).

I hope this will get the left wing (squad) to shut up and stop squabbling within the Dem party.
