That is nuts.

Just nuts.

Can someone explain wtaf Trump is saying here in a phone call with RFK Jr?
“When you feed a baby, Bobby, a vaccination that is like 38 different vaccines, and it looks like it’s meant for a horse, not a, you know, 10lb or 20lb baby, it looks like you’re giving, you should be giving a horse this thing, and do you ever see the size of it? It’s massive and then you see the baby all of a sudden starting to change radically. I’ve seen it too many times. And then you hear that it doesn’t have an impact, right? But you and I talked about that a long time ago.”
I mean it's two anti-vax nuts conversing, but the incoherence is stunning.
Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end . . .

People have pointed out the teleprompters seemed intact. It’s a mystery.
These stages often have bulletproof glass panels all over the place. They are set in such a way that they can be nearly invisible to the photographers. If a bullet hits one of those, it may have deflected the bullet but chipped a piece of the glass and sent it flying. When he reacts, it looks like it was from something going directly towards his ear hole. It was fast, but not bullet fast, he reacts immediately. If it was a bullet graze, he's probably not even gonna react for a second or 2.

Yeah, the crowd was weirdly subdued for a shooting. They didn't even scatter when it was clear something bad was going on. Or take defensive positions, like the one fatality reportedly did. You'd think this crowd would know what "incoming" means.

It could be that the crowd goes into a stupor when the Turnip is speaking, as he really is crushingly boring for 2 hours. So when something interesting happened it took them a little while to wake back up.

It seems odd to normal people, but remember trumpers are notoriously slow. And I don't mean in the passing lane.

This angle looks like the teleprompter got clipped
Thanks. I’m firmly convinced a bullet didn’t hit his ear, and even what did hit him didn’t cause much injury. He acted like it was no worse than a bee sting. I’ve had stronger reactions to black fly bites.

You’d think Meal Team Six would figure it out.
He told RFK Jr. on the phone call that it felt like "the world's largest mosquito" got him. And of course, it would be "the world's largest" and not just a big ass one.

i'm starting to think this incident is going to blow up in the GOP's face.

1. The political/propaganda wing of the GOP was so quick to blame Democrats for the shooting. So far we're seeing that the shooter had no ideology, and the same motivations as a school shooter. And we all know the GOP's attitude about that problem. And how they act when it happens to anyone other than their Dear Leader. Thoughts and prayers, Donald.
2. For the reasons I said earlier, the whole scene has an air of dubiousness to it. Much worse than things the Alex Jones wing of the GOP routinely screams "crisis actor!" at.
3. The evangelical wing of the GOP was quick to praise Jesus for a miracle, when it looks like their hero was saved by nothing more than poor marksmanship. It already looks a little silly.
4. Today we learn the event actually had more security than usual because of some Iran threat, making this FailedASpotCheck even more inexcusable. That clip of the crowd being uneasy because they can see that guy on the roof is especially damning.
5. The Democratic Party has taken the high road all around, condemning political violence regardless of who the target is. Team Trump doubled down on all its usual cards, because that's the only play they know anymore. Now they're screaming about unity when that's clearly just another empty word to them. Like everything else in their asinine platform, "unity" is just another noble-sounding code word for "give us what we want."
6. All the usual Planet Trump reactions, like the instant Trump-branded merch, and the database thing on this very page.

Agreed, especially #6. Although the dubs will lap up the merch, the rest of the world cringes at the tackiness of it all.

Of course, tacky is their Chanel.

I saw this post on one of the princess’ FB friends,
One she eventually refused to talk to because of her MAGA nuttiness. I don’t know the poster but both her and the owner of the page are well-medicated middle-age white women.
How does a twenty year old become so proficient with a sniper rifle with a scope that he can nearly assassinate someone hundreds of yards away? I’m sure he fits the regular psychopathic profile - great kid, teachers all loved him, played too many video games, and then he became an odd duck, and his social media posts became weird, etc. Could this kid be a stooge, a replacement for the actual shooter who was actually recruited by the deep state and is now living in Bali under a new name?

Forgive me. Since the Covid hoax, I’m afraid I have become a bit of a conspiracy theorist. Or maybe I’ve read too many Jack Clancy and Robert Ludlum novels. My theories since Covid, however, have mostly all been proven at least partially, if not entirely, accurate. 🤷‍♀️😂

Oh, and there was only one shooter in the school book depository in 1963. Yeah, right….[\quote]
