In Mexico, 19 feral cats can officially roam the presidential palace fur-ever

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's government have declared the cats roaming the National Palace as “living fixed assets" for as long as the felines live.

One sad thing about losing my hearing is I can't hear the kitty cats purr anymore. I can feel it in their throats as I scratch the little buggars but I can't hear it any more. :oldlady: :(

:bighug: That is awful! My Toolie is one of the best purrers ever. She purrs so loudly I have to turn the sound up if I'm watching TV. Also, mom's cat, Charlotte, I call her Char Char, is a serious chirper. It's so cute, I just love hearing her little chirpies. It would be sad if I couldn't hear these wonderful sounds from the kitties.

We use to have a Toolie too years ago! She was so sweet but unfortunately she got killed by a passing by dog while we were away. She was such a sweet girl :brokenheart: We had another cat before her called called Lulie and when she died we adopted this one and called her Toolie.

Oh, your Toolie is so gorgeous!

My Toolie is actually Tulip, she was named already at the shelter where I got her. I kept the name, but I usually call her Toolie or sometimes just Tools, usually Toolie. She's a real sweetheart.

The strange Alma-Tadema painting is actually the illustration of a legend. This painting, which cannot be understood immediately, portrays a Dutch legend. At the end of November 1421, a great flood occurred in Holland. According to different data, the victims of the disaster were between 2 thousand and 10 thousand people, and a legend is linked to this event. After the flood, people went out to see what was left in good condition and who had survived. In the water they saw a cradle float. When it approached the shore, they observed a cat jumping madly from one end of the bed to the other. Apparently, by doing that, the feline wanted to keep the balance of the crib so that it did not sink. The animal was so successful at it that even the peacefully sleeping baby's sheet became dry.

Leon working on his tan. I keep the window cracked so I can hear rain and thunder. I like storms, and no water gets in. OK, water molecules in the air.

May 25th, 45 years ago, a movie about a Woman and her Cat premiered. Oh, and it starred some Alien too, I guess.
