Lumpy's appeal (thanks!) on my unlawyerly and unsympathetic reading can be paraphrased: "The mark knew the so-called judges for the competition were Lumpy's stooges. He knew that even if every file consisted of plain ASCII text saying 'this is not election data' the prize would never be awarded. The arbitration panel and district court should have ruled that the mark was a mug and stupid to believe that the competition might be anything other than Lumpy's maniacal scam. The contract clearly implied the prize would never be paid out. If the law isn't going to protect scammers, there is something wrong with the world. All hail Trump and Lumpy, his anointed prophet."

That particular attorney specializes in bankruptcy.

Of note is that he chose to withdraw just as the judge was about to grant the plaintiffs request to compel Lumpy to disclose all his assets and liabilities.

You would think that a bankruptcy lawyer would be used to clients who are either in total denial about their financial problems, or are actively trying to hide cash.

My bet is that Lumpy is both.


And I'm also willing to bet that the reason that he is trying to withdraw is because Lumpy is trying to get his lawyer involved in Lumpy's financial malfeasance.

1. I am an attorney with Bailey & Glasser LLP. I am over the age of 18 and

make this declaration upon my personal knowledge.

2. On June 4, 2024, the Court issued an order (ECF No. 79) which, among other

things, rescheduled for July 17, 2024, at 9:30 AM CT, the hearing on Petitioner’s pending

Motion to Compel Responses to Post-Judgment Discovery (ECF No. 62).

3. On June 13, 2024, the Court issued an order (ECF No. 81) directing counsel

for Petitioner to serve ECF No. 79 and ECF No. 81 directly on Respondent (i.e., Lindell

Management, LLC) and to file a declaration of service of the same by June 20, 2024.

4. On June 18, 2024, I emailed Douglas Wardlow, General Counsel for

Respondent, attaching both ECF No. 79 and ECF No. 81, and inquiring whether Mr.

Wardlow was able to accept service of both documents on behalf of Respondent.

5. On June 18, 2024, about five minutes after sending the email described in

paragraph 4 above, Mr. Wardlow responded to my email saying that he was able to accept

service on behalf of Respondent.

Wardlow appears to be a Grade-A tool.

I notice he's left out the proper response from the poll worker in step 6 "If told by poll worker that a mail-in ballot has already been issued..." Wonder how many people will assume this means that they are a victim of identity theft.
