Yeah, I know. I'm freaking out. But, Thank You Uniformed. I'm grateful. I'm slamming some coffee down now.

I truely hope everyone has a chance to love someone as deeply as this. It's been a wonderful and agonizing journey. I have no fucking idea how I'm going to deal with her not being around. And I have no idea how I'll deal if she stays around. It's going to be a lot. I am in the WTF zone, and have to suck it up no matter which way this goes. I have to get my Man Card renewed, laminated, and chrome plated.

You don’t need a card Bill, your resilience is awesome. I know that when you truly love someone you don’t really have any choice(s) but from what, and how, you write you have my respect. Stay strong. :bighug:

You don't need a Man Card, you have a HEART. I'm just so glad your wife has you to be by her side and making sure she gets the care she needs. I know from watching my own husband that it's not easy when someone needs so much help, but knowing he loves me goes such a long ways to making life like this bearable. I suspect it's the same for your wife.

Blessings to both of you!

Thank you everyone. I appreciate all of you, and I apologize for my bender last night. I got a little brutal and frank, but these cathartic moments release a lot of pent up energy. So, I owe all of you at least one hug, and ten minutes of listening while you rave. Have your people call my people. We'll make it happen.

PS: I really really do wish all of you a love like we have / had / which is it? She's still alive. So it's present tense.

Sorry, Bill, but glad it's fixed. How frustrating. My mother had that and ended up with a colostomy to repair it.

Bill: I hadn't been following this thread, but I'm sorry to hear of your woes and the inevitable way you're life will be turned upside down. Hugs to you.

For what it's worth, absolute atheist though I am, I find the words of Solomon in Ecclesiastes 3 immensely calming for the way they illustrate that the world continues to revolve and life around us continues relentlessly:

:bighug: I hope you find solace today and every day while wending yourself through these trying days. I am not sure if life ever gets easier sometimes or we just become accustomed to the new direction and trials.
