Her statement is grim for T****, she says what a mistake she made, that she'd decline doing it if she had it to do over again. She also backed the bus over "older lawyers" who didn't do their due diligence. She's going to be fun at trial.

Changed the poll, was going to break out David Shafer... but it looks like the poll didn't reset. Maybe because I'd voted. Anyway, made sure everybody can change votes, and replaced JE with FELON.

Still thinking about my vote for Round 2 -- inclined to think it will be someone who doesn't have the financial resources to drag this out. They all are seeing people with money like The Cheese and The Squid cashing out. Cathy Latham is a former schoolteacher and her GiveSendGo hasn't gotten much traction. Not much upside for her. And she can get back to Waffle House.

Latham filed an appeal to move her case to the Fed courts so I think she’s out of the running for a deal until that is decided.

His proffer probably doesn't include testifying against Trump. He probably wants to plead to a misdemeanor jaywalking charge, pay a $10 fine and no probation.

He was about as close to Trump as anyone at that time. He was in the conspiracy up to his neck. I'm sure that the prosecutors will insist that any plea deal includes testifying honestly about Trump's involvement. They will probably insist on at least some prison time.

OTOH, if the stories are true, he may not be able to afford the $10 fine.

A quick scan of Ellis’s agreement to be publicly censured by Colorado’s attorney disciplinary authorities for her misstatements on TV and Twitter suggests they would not be foreclosed from seeking her disbarment for the felony she just pleaded to in Georgia.

I don't think Rudy will be offered any kind of deal that doesn't include jail time. He's neck deep in this.

Interesting that the lawyers have pled to submitting false documents/making false statements vis a vis Eastman who is fully engulfed in the koolaid. He's turned into a pretzel trying to prove the election really was screwed up while his co-RICO-ians are all "yeah that was fake." I don't think he'll get a deal.

Cathy Latham ("Miss Cathy" as I'm sure she's called in Sunday School) has filed to remove to Federal court - that's a joke. She may be next, but does she have anything to trade on the big fish? Idk - I think she'll try to trade but who knows if she has valuable info.
Clark may have found his pants, but I don't think he'll find a deal. He was pretty close to the top in the scheme and Willis may not be kindly desposed to the folks who had the power and position (and info on others) to overthrow our democracy. Maybe a deal that includes jail time? I think he'll reject that and try to charm jurors.

I do wonder how long it will be until Trump whines that Ellis never worked for him.

As for Rudy, he could offer to plead guilty but the most the prosecution might do is trim a little off the top on charges (nothing significant). I doubt that they would want to get anything from him. He's damaged goods on credibility.
