cause I was curious, it's not just a photo op:
10 Facts about Biker in Chief - VP Mike Pence
We've had lots of politician photo ops on Harleys over the years, but the last time an actual rider was in the Executive Branch it was Jimmy Carter, and that was a Honda step through. Mike Pence rides a Harley, so let's get to know him better.
I mean, not that it makes me LIKE Pence more, but it does fall under the category of 'things which make my villains more than two-dimensional cardboard cutouts', to be sure.
There's a difference between a biker and a rider. Pence may technically be a rider but he'll never be a biker.
And that's not an insult. A couple of decades back, I rode (my own). But I never considered myself a biker. I married a biker.
(I didn't work on my bike and I never took it on a long distance trip. I rode locally. My longest ride was 150 miles. No, you don't have to belong to a gang. Hims never did. But he knew his way around a wrench and how to pack a bike with sleeping gear. )
My husband had a Harley. He never considered himself a biker.

I had some female friends whom I considered bikers. Tiffany traveled all over the country on her Harley and she could wrench with the best of them. Of course, if you're going to travel on your bike, you'd better know how to fix it sitting on the side of the road cuz, especially if you're riding a Harley, you're going to need that information.
(I rode a Yamaha and Him grudgingly admitted it was the superior product.)
RUB. Rich Urban Biker. Used with some disdain by bikers.
I worked for The Motor Company, and The Motorcar Company.
My opinion is all motorcycles are better built since the early 80’s than most cars
I never got into the costume, I always had coveralls packed in my bags if it got rainy or cold, below 40°

I never heard that term but understand the concept. The joke was they rode their bikes to breakfast on Sunday then back to the garage.
