Tucker asks Trump about his experience at the NY courthouse: “I’ll tell you, people were crying. People that worked there professionally that have no problems putting in murderers .. they were crying. They were actually crying. They said, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Keen observers will note that these people never stated why they were sorry.
My money is that they were sorry that he wasn't taken into custody pending trial.

Removal of required directionality in a sentence....
I write you, you wrote me, we wrote them..... NO!!!!!!!!
The sentence is a contraction of a full sentence such as " I wrote a letter TO you". You wouldn't say "I wrote a letter you", would you?
Saying "I wrote you" means you have written "YOU"...
Second, random failure to pronounce a required letter......this is American English, not French....... the word HERB is pronounced with a "H", not "erb", "herb".
It's not difficult, if you have an acquaintance called Herb, you say "Hey..... Herb", not " Hey..... Erb"..... The pronunciation is identical as it is for "horrible" not "orrible", "hard" not "ard", "homely" not "omely" etc.
In French the "H" may be silent because there is a partial glottal stop used instead of a hard H so the pronunciation sounds akin to "!airb"

The gold one is for the yokels now. They have Amex Platinum and Amex Black for the really fancy folks who'd rather pay $200 or $2500 annual fees instead of $50. Or the real peasants with Green Cards who only pay $35 (??? in 1995 anyway).

LOL. The gold is $250/yr. Platinum is $695/yr (they keep trying to entice me with it). The Black card? I am not on that radar. I have a Delta Skymiles Platinum Card which I don't think is the same as a regular American Express Platinum Card. I dunno. I don't even know what my annual fee is, I notoriously don't pay attention to those things but I don't think I pay $695.
It's also not metal and I feel gypped. Throwing them away is easy when you work in a motorcar plant, we have quite a few things that can reduce a metal card back to its elements.

I differ. That's kinda silly.
I wouldn't say "I wrote a letter you", but I would say "I wrote you a letter," which are the exact same five words in the correct order, according to the rules of English grammar.
And from there it's obviously okay to say "I wrote you."

And Bagram is not one hour away from any Chinas nuclear development facilities(*), the city of Kabul is one hour from the airbase. China would surely not put its eggs on the doorstep for the US to pick off without any efforts. Apart there is a yuuge mountain range inbetween, ye 'now - the Himalayas and the Yetis.
And it was you dimwit that did not start removing the stuff timely under your command (remember who was commander-in-mischief at the time), stuff you claim was left behind (apart of all stray dogs of Kabul). Just to correct the fake story: what was left behind was a scrap yard of unusable assets. What may have been of use to the Taliban was deactivated and sabotaged. The Taliban did dearly shed tears that the Afghan Airforce was left without any operable plane - not that they would have mechanics or pilots to operate the birds.
